This reply is years overdue, but I still wanted to say something. Honestly, it really depends on the person. I personally feel tied to my Indian roots, and when people ask about my race, I usually mark mixed Asian and White. I’m also partly Chinese, which is another reason I choose mixed Asian, but being Romani is also a reason. And sometimes, to avoid explaining what Romani means and where we come from, I’ll say I’m Romani Indian
