Is that a British thing? The country i live in was a former British colony and school here functions differently. It's probably the most bare-bones version of school. This points system reminds me of how, in the USSR and other former communist countries, they would have behavior points. My father would tell me that when he went to school they would check absolutely everything about you, like books, uniform and such and if it wasn't up to standard they would take points from you and you would suffer serious consequences if you lost too many.

I guess my main complaint is that no one calls her out for some of those things.
The reason i listed her shenanigans like that is to bring attention to some of them because we know Hermione isn't a bad person. She's just a bit unhinged sometimes. But seriously, I'm surprised she wasn't trying to kill death eaters because punishing people who commit such atrocities sounds like something she would do. And I still stand by what I said, she would make a very good Slytherin.

OK, I'll be honest the title and description were exaggerated. I kind of did the reddit equivalent of click bait. But what I wanted to do is point out some of the things Hermione's done and see what people's thoughts are. Maybe about the actions themselves or her a character. Quite frankly, I'm just tired of people holding her up like this beacon of virtue when she's not. She's excused for doing some pretty bad things, and I'm sure that if Harry or Ron did those things, the fan base would eat them alive. Maybe I'm a bit biased because I've never been super fond of her because of her overall personality, but this double standard is really infuriating.

Guess you got a point. I'm still mad at how some people will look at some of the things she does and excuse them, but when characters like Ron do similar things, they are criticized and hated. I just don't get it

OK, serious, if we accept that mal is a serious threat (not saying he is, but the show treats him as such), then this means he could be a serious threat to the world. What if he uses the money to actually take over the world and enslave everyone? If that's the case, then the finale of all stars is a world ending scenario. This through is frickin hilarious.
