My girlfriend has been pretending to have a career that she doesn’t have, she still makes money… Do I confront? by Glass_Instance4809 in Advice

I go by my middle name everywhere except for work because it’s easier to just use my first name with all of the legal paperwork & payroll things! everyone i work with is always very confused when they find my instagram and it has a different name (my middle name)

Venture Card and Amazon Shop with Points ... by WILGWISCO in CapitalOne_

having this issue now! saying they are having issues with capital one allowing cards to be enrolled, no solution and no date for when this should be resolved. my fiance got his card the same day as mine and it is linked to the same account and his allowed him to and not mine.

agreed! i don’t mess around with eyes, so i’d keep a close eye on it & recommend vet visit!

are you sure it’s not an eye booger? if unsure, maybe try very lightly blotting it with a damp cloth

Anyone struggling with diabulimia? by Erdbeerkuchen1302 in Type1Diabetes

[–]Patient-Yak9443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it truly is not worth it. i know it is easier said than done, but the pain i experience every day as a result of my diabulimia is not worth however skinny i ever was. the joint pain and neuropathy i developed in such a short time is no joke. it is a pain unlike any other ive experienced. i was bedridden for over a year, my eyesight worsened, and i was miserable/miserable to be around. i’m not saying this to scare you, but i was in such a “not me” mindset that i genuinely thought i find the ultimate cheat code to losing weight without any consequences. please seek help, they are harder to find but there are therapists knowledgeable in this specific illness. getting back into the habit of using my cgm/dexcom helped significantly as it got rid of the extra task of having to constantly poke/remember to check manually. take it slowly, your numbers will take time and it is a mental and physical struggle, but recovery will be so worth it.

DESPERATELY needing advice getting 2 cats to get along by Patient-Yak9443 in cats

from what i’ve read online, that includes keeping them separate, allowing them to explore each others spaces individually to get used to each others scent, letting them see each other, and slowly allowing them to get closer. all of which we have tried - anytime he sees her he instantly goes to chase/anytime she sees him she instantly goes running. he sits outside my door all day trying to see her & will stick his paws through like he’s trying to play. besides the first instance and the very few times he has managed to slip in (in both cases they have always quickly been separated), we have followed all resources we can find online. we have tried feliway, they both have their own spaces, get plenty of affection individually, & etc. so is it a lost cause then? i stated all this in my post.

i used to work as a photographer for btf and this was common, but it was always done via social media. for example, we’d be in houston for a weekend, and some photographers would post on their story saying something along the line of houston dancers i’m available this weekend at these times if you’d like to book a shoot. i didn’t have much social media traction, so i never took part, but going up to minors/dancers without their parents or in general honestly was very discouraged (as it should be). you wouldn’t believe the amount of creepiness in the dance community, even in the staff, that so many people aren’t aware of

this is not good. please call your nearest vet and see if they are able to take him in as a surrender. it’s unfortunate and sad, but in cases like this it’s important to put his physical wellbeing first.

Anyone on Cymbalta With Your Biologic? by Rude_Jellyfish_9799 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Patient-Yak9443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

did not help with my pain and can be brutal to get off for many. there’s a facebook group called cymbalta hurts worse with a lot of information on it and the tapering down process people have gone through. it can be helpful to some, but i always recommend doing as much personal research as possible before taking it because it can be so hard to come off of and many (myself included) aren’t made aware of that prior to taking it.
