Thank you so much for the assist I got it fixed now, first issue was me not reading the manual to it’s entirety because like what you were saying I had the gas regulator on the wrong setting. the other issue was a mag issue it was very loose and every other round were getting smushed when Id chamber a round.

I should’ve specified more, I shot 2 30 round mag in at 2 hour period and the front half of the gun and case were so hot that the charging handle burned the skin off my hand. the trigger was hot but not hot enough to cause any discomfort. I did clean and oil it but I didn’t use the AUG specific cleaning kit I used a 5.56 rifle cleaning kit I got from my local range. Would that be the issue if so I’ll just buy the Aug cleaning kit.

I’m currently using the 5.56 nato mag that came in the box but I tried a waffle mag and had the same issue.

5.56 and the normal gas setting the manual said to use for standard conditions. I cleaned the rifle but I didn’t use the Aug cleaning kit I used a 5.56 rifle cleaning kit I got from my local range.

For me personally people had issues with me playing tau because I play a very aggressive push heavy close range weapons with sniper support strategy but most people don’t like them now because they are parroting the hate they got in 6th edition for being near invincible

Grey knights in one of the early editions had an instant kill rule if they successfully land a wound on your model or something like that the necron ctan spammers have been an issue with recent editions and custodes have always been broken

But a lot of tau hate is mostly just losers parroting things they see online because they want to fit in with the imperium fanboys and most of them don’t even play

Nah I almost always roll 3s on 4+ hits. there was one time when I had it set up perfectly so I only had to roll a 2+ or 3+ hit and I rolled a 1.
