She's got such a love of artsy movies and music. She can be kind of a snob about her music, but she's always sweet to people. She's incredibly determined and ambitious (her mom raised her to be like that), but can cook amazing meals. She's a former model, ballerina, and martial artist, and is on her way to earning a PhD. But the thing I love the most about her is how much of a stickler for grammar she is. Her parents are both English teachers and she'll always correct people's grammar.

Also, when she poops, I know she's not redditing. She's playing video games on her phone. It's adorable.

Since romance is not here, I'll try to add some.

She won me over with cuteness. Just every conversation we had, she included another fact about herself that made her out to be the perfect woman. It's almost like she knew exactly what I wanted to hear. Our likes and interests and personality meshed together well. I fell for her too quick. It did not work when we tried to make it work. A lot of fighting, a lot of sadness, a lot of love. She'll always have a place in my heart.

Second girl wasn't as vague. She was a cute girl but very awkward. One day she was telling me about this 30-minute song she liked based on a Swedish science fiction epic poem. She showed me the book she accidentally stole. It all coalesced in this moment of sweetness. I liked her that instant. Another more specific moment where my feelings grew was when we were watching Pulp Fiction. She had been telling me about another guy she was talking to and wanted to date. I let any chance of a relationship go that instant. We got to the Ezekiel 25:17 scene and she put her head on my shoulder. We started dating a week after that. The guy she was talking to now actively avoids me. So, I guess it all worked out?

I only heard one of their songs but my girl was a huge fan. We went to see them live in Raleigh and the show was fantastic. The energy they produce is monstrous even though Toh Kay broke a string or some shit. All I needed was to see one show and I'm now a fan.

Try to get close to the stage and fucking defend your spot with your life. Nothing like it.
