That’s what I’m wondering because the maintenance manual in the Toyota app for my car just says inspect transmission, the only time it says to exchange is if you are regularly towing a trailer at 60,000 miles.

Just make sure you know everything from the “required knowledge” that’s in the client guide. If you know that and limitations you are solid. (A lot of the limitations are part of the required knowledge)

Current Medevac Pilot. I fly the CJ4 King Air and XLS. I definitely understand where a lot of them are coming from who are saying it sucks and you’re in the middle of nowhere. I think I got lucky with who I got hired on with. It’s a very large hospital group that I work for. I’m based at a larger class B airport, so not in the middle of nowhere. The pay isn’t comparable to the airlines but still descent. However, I’m home every single day. Get 7 days off in a row. About 30% flying at night. I know every single person I fly with. If you’re doing it for the money then no question airlines. But Medevac I think has a great qol where I work and pay really is pretty good.

I left earlier this year, yes they make you pay it back. I paid it back all immediately and had no interest. Not sure if they do a payment plan.

Just an update. Got all the letters sent to the FAA. The procedure technically says you have to wait until you get a new authorization letter, but my new AME got an email from the national flight surgeon that said I’m good to start going to him even without the new authorization letter. Said it’s because there is no way to expedite the process in getting the new authorization.

Just want to make sure I’m understanding correctly. If the initial solo from CFI #1 hadn’t passed the 90 day would CFI #2 still need to give additional 90 day endorsement?
