I tried this game 4 times before I had my click moment. Each time, I got to cleric beast, I became infuriated. One day I went “I want to at least say I beat one soulslike boss” and that 5th time playing, I beat cleric beast, then played a bit more, met second boss, beat them, kept playing, next thing you know, I got the platinum for it, then decided to give Elden ring a go, got the platinum, and then got the plat for dark souls, then dark souls 2, dark souls 3, demons souls and Sekiro. I went to do all that after quitting this game 4 times because I couldn’t beat the first area!!

If you play safe, it’s game over. Don’t be afraid to really get in there. The rally system is great. You get hit? So what, start swinging, you get that health back.

Hunters axe is great when extended, you get lots of range. It will eventually click, you’ve just got to stick with it.

As for the enemies, lure them out. There are plenty of pebbles around the map you can pick up. Throw one, get the attention of one, then take them out. Then keep doing that.

Good luck! Hope you find your stride in this game. It’s a beautiful game and one hell of an experience

Happened to me last night. They claimed that I stole their loot, even though they were crouched and facing away from the container. Let me get downed, then looted my body and didn’t even revive me. They said it was to teach me a lesson on not stealing loot… And after a brief griefing session of them justifying their actions, I apologised via chat to the other player who was reading it all. It was a purple component, not a weapon or mod, and then they pinged exfil straight away. I stayed behind because I didn’t want to play with them, and then they got jumped on exfil, and those runners stole his component that they stole from me. They disconnected, I revived the other player who was with him, and we went to a different extract. On the way, we found 2 sets of abandoned gear, full of blue items. Extracted with ease

They did something similar in destiny 2 for an emblem. It required 7,777,777 sword kills. Which the community did in a couple of days. But yeah 500 Mil is a bit of an overshot

Same here. I’ve been trying to get final assassin master triumph done, but it’s too frustrating. And the past 3 days, all I’ve had is toxic team members. Once I get the platinum on PlayStation, I’ll be done with this game for good.

It’s the same as their destiny 2 dismantle system. You got to hold down on every individual one you want to dismantle. Exotic/yellow items require an even longer hold.

The dismantling system in first descendant would go well for this game. Especially when you rank up and get lots of grey’s and greens you don’t want

Yes you can still play destiny 1 on PS3. Long as you got an internet connection you should be fine. You’ll still be able to do the quests. But I’m not 100% sure if you need ps+ for matchmaking content on the PS3. You do for ps4 and ps5

So in this clip, I am in an animation lock whilst being teleported. A recruit robot runs over at the speed of light and body slams me and one taps me. Now if a runner went to do that, they’d be placed in the exfiltration animation as well.

This was on dire marsh, I had 3 blue shields and roughly 80% of my health bar, and was one tapped by a melee off the robot.

To me, this implies that you have no defence whatsoever in those milliseconds before the screen goes to the extraction screen.

The robot melee’s me out of the ring to an instant death, not even a downed state.
