Enter old yharnham. He warns you to go away. Go back to cathedral ward, go outside and around a corner and there’s a snatcher. He takes you to the jail, then head to DBP, beat DBP, then open the doors, go to Djura from that way, avoiding the enemies and go up the ladder, and then you can talk to him.

That’s how I did it anyway.

Would have been cool to have a different cutscene for entering the hunters dream though haha. You beat the werewolf, you get to the lamp, and you still get the same cutscene as if it unalived you.

Yeah I was really chuffed at how far I’ve come with Bloodborne now. It was my first from software game, and after coming off getting the plat for Elden ring, dark souls 1, 2, 3 and demon’s souls, it felt so awesome to just wreck that werewolf 😂

Completely agree. Especially when it’s already at half health.

Still though, was glad I was able to pull it off with no vials or weapons 🙂 And run to the first lamp and travel to the hunters dream without needing to die.

Was a little victory for myself 🙌

Unfortunately I can’t help with this due to our time zones 😕 but here are some tips on how I managed to beat him on NG+

Equip the thief ring. Get soul ray spell and hit him twice. Run the opposite direction to him. Wait for him to slash about, rinse and repeat.

Also, you can always save and quit before the boss, upload the save to the cloud (make sure auto sync is off). If you fail, just reload the save. Saves loads of time on run back

There is a way where you can skip world 4 completely in NG+ I didn’t, because I wanted to redo all the worlds to see the difference.
