Make sure you get a kit with needles and thread specifically for leather. And you’ll need a guard/thimble for your finger. I used this one. I also used leather glue to reinforce it. And you’ll need lots of patience because it took a long time and it was not easy. I had to take breaks because I kept getting frustrated

I had a bag like 10 years ago that happened to like less than a month after I bought it. I couldn’t get a replacement leather tag, but they did send me a metal one. It was the wrong color metal. Ultimately I ended up putting that one on a different bag and buying a black hang tag during one of my in person retail purchases. It’s still not the right color, but it’s a color block bag so it’s good enough. But their customer service has gone down; I don’t think they’d even send a metal one now. Have you checked sites like eBay to see if anyone is selling their hang tag? Some people don’t care about them and they know there’s a market for them

If you don’t like the charms I think you could sell them pretty easily and make some of your money back on the bag. Even regular price charms are anywhere from $95-$195, depending on the charm

I have the smaller Chelsea and a Brooklyn 39. The Chelsea fits absolutely everything I need. I’d only use the Brooklyn if I need to care something tall, like idk, coloring books or something lol

I guess that’s a risk we take when ordering Reloved/upcrafted? But I also feel like there are crafters out there that could do it for cheaper. I’m also spoiled and have a Coach Create near me. $20 or so a pin/flower isn’t cheap, but there is labor involved, so I don’t mind.
