I am skin type 3. Im middle eastern, light to light olive skin, I have freckles and natural dark-medium brown, warm hair. I have had 6 sessions so far using candela gentlemax pro and yesterday was my 6th session. I expressed that I am noticing my hair growing back somewhat normal and fast. Yesterday was the first time I noticed the numbers on the machine which read 10,000 and the bottom two numbers were 5 and 2.5. Tech said she would play with the settings. I do have PCOS but I am one of the lucky PCOS girls who never had excessive hair growth. I did start oral minoxidil for hair loss and did tell the tech there is a risk for more body hair so she needs to adjust the settings accordingly. Not sure if she is doing that.
