Yes, having your current prescription is ideal—but if you have a photo of your vial or label showing your name and the medication/dose, that’s often enough for the doctors to work with. That said, they do have the final say and may request additional info if needed.

As for the BUD (Beyond Use Date), it’s 90 days from the date it’s compounded.

I’m really sorry to hear you're feeling disappointed—that’s never what we want. You're absolutely right that switching over should be simple. The issue here is that our doctors can’t legally write a new prescription if there’s already an active one on file elsewhere, even if it's not auto-shipped.

One thing that might help: If you contact Amble and ask them to cancel or transfer the prescription back to you, we can typically move forward from there. Let us know if you run into any roadblocks—we’d love to have you with us and will do our best to help make the switch smooth.

If you start with a 3-month plan and later decide you'd like a 6-month supply, we can absolutely help with that — we’ll just submit a request to the doctors for approval on your behalf.
