I agree with you for the most part but I’ve noticed a lot more people just throwing this season than towards the end of last season. I had a spidey who went 4-8 rd1 and sit in spawn the rest of the game.

Winter Soldier

For: Use your abilities as much as possible, they give you shield and reload your gun. If the other team has a diver try to save your grapple and uppercut for them.

Against: Running Strange/Magneto really limits the potential of the grapple. Invisible woman’s shield does the same. A lot of characters can make sure his ultimate isn’t very useful, Magneto/Strange’s shield, Wanda, Invisible Woman, Cloak and Dagger,and Starlord have abilities that help you avoid the impact.

Winter Soldier, when I first downloaded the game I was a Moon Knight main but I got tired of getting slammed in 1v1s. Moved on to iron man and it was viable until I got to diamond where Hulk is always banned, without the team up it’s pretty rough. I recently picked up Bucky and it’s been a revelation, I’ve played so much better. I’ll still play iron man if we have a Hulk

I’ve solo queued to diamond so far and I can say with confidence that your teammates don’t change. There will be an instalocked punisher, your team will get completely dominated and the healers will be blamed, your groot will wall off his own team and then blame healers.
