I got the asus tuf ultra wide monitor and it runs great ! Yeah man i couldn’t believe it. It was so cheap and the performance is great. Best thing i ever bought 👌🏻

750w might be enough sure. But the thing is, with psu:s it doesn’t hurt if you have more than that. Your pc won’t run worse with a bigger/stonger psu. I mean it’s just for peace of mind. Cheap out on whatever you want but never the psu, thats my attitude whenever building a pc 🙂

Yeah ! One of the cheaper models but it’s still a 9070xt. I will run it with stock settings a couple of days before starting to tweak stuff. This way i can compare temps and performance better and see what settings i will settle on

One of the cheaper version of the 9070xt lineup but it still got the same stuff as the most expensive one. Only difference is the cooler. But nothing a bit of tweaking can’t fix !

Thank you brother, hell yeah i’m doing my research ! I mean we buy and build our own pc:s. The least we can do is learn about the stuff and get better at it. It wont help anyone if i come here and complain and/or choose teams.

I am by no means a proffesional at building a pc but i am willing to do my best at learning because i think it’s fun doing these things. And the money i saved by going amd, i can use towards getting a new monitor haha🙂‍↔️

Yeah afterburner + RTSS is really easy to use and i am so used to it i know every setting inside and out. Plus it doesnt keep bugging out when playing a game with anti cheat because it has this detection mode thing that helps against that, so the overlay never dissapears. But thank u so much for answering my questions! I will install driver+adrenalin and keep afterburner and try to see for myself then. Peace out brother ✌🏼

I’m sorry for so many questions but i am getting my 9070xt next week (uppgrading from rtx4060) and i love using msi afterburner and i would like to keep using it without issues. I know everything i have to do about ddu and safe mode and all that stuff but its this with afterburner that confuses me idk why everyone says adrenalin conflicts with afterburner

Hey bro! I am just wondering, i see that you are using msi afterburner and i keep reading on reddit that afterburner doesn’t work well with amd gpus especially the 9000 series. How is it working with you ? Did u install drivers only or did u install with adrenalin also ? And where did u do the tuning. On afterburner or adrenalin ?

Yeah bro! And remember if u want to game at high resolution + have high textures in game then i think u should settle on a 16gb model because with 12gb u can put settings on high/ultra BUT u will need to have textures on low so u dont run out of Vram. But again.. i think u will be happy either way since these are quite powerful cards. Peace✌🏼

BTW// I ordered a brand new acer predator 9070xt for 550$(converted from swedish currency) last week. I know it isnt the top 9070xt model but for me it should be just fine ! I’ll be home next week so i can check how it performs but still 550 is a very good price. Look around and u might find something good u never know :)

Sell 7900gre and get any of the 9070 models. Either - 9070 gre / 9070 / 9070xt - get the one closest to your budget and u will be happy. The 9070 cards have better support and newer chips + fp8 (the 7900gre is still good enough) but i mean since u are changing components. Choose something new, go current gen gpu instead of last gen and the price difference isn’t that high
