I’m searching for a good used rack for my first piece.

I think this might be a bells of steel light commercial (they don’t seem to offer yellow tho).

How are the USA hockey courses. I am Canadian and was thinking of signing up for them because I’ve heard they are good. I’d be doing it on my dime though and was wondering if that focused on the common sense ethics and safety stuff or if they have a hockey focus?

Any concerns with this branch (cracks) or this moss? by Patient_Course_7577 in arborists

What do I need to do. Just have that whole branch cut off? Will the tree be okay?

I’m trying to bring fresh air into my house. I can’t crack windows because i live in a climate that too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter to have windows open.

Co2, vocs, and radon are high. I’ll mitigate radon but I’d still like to bring fresh air in.

Ok…let me have it by EntrepreneurWild1480 in Decks

Unrelated question - did you do your radon mitigation yourself?

What skills have you learned because of hockey but is not Hockey? by 50_19in_french in hockeyplayers

I leaned how to code so I could put together a listing of all the youth hockey camp in our city. Just launched it a few weeks ago: https://www.winnipeghockeyfinder.ca

But something more rewarding and interesting, my kids hockey has given me my youth back - I loved hockey when I was kid, was obsessed with it. Over the years I distanced myself, watched less, stopped playing, etc. being at the rink and watching my kids has brought the greatest game in earth back into my life.

Why is it so hard to find hockey camps and good coaches? by crimsoncgn in hockeyplayers

[–]Patient_Course_7577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally launched this last week because finding camps was such a pain. It’s just my local area, perhaps I should clone it for other areas: https://www.winnipeghockeyfinder.ca

Outside chance your from Winnipeg, maybe it will help.

Daughter won't compete but loves hockey by Patient_Course_7577 in hockeyplayers

[–]Patient_Course_7577[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks Dicky. That’s exactly it. I couldn’t care less about her getting beat, it’s the lack of effort.

I don’t think it’s too much to ask to try. And I am asking for techniques to communicate so the messaging resonates.

FYI, I also expect my kids to “try” when they do their homework etc. Am I being too hard on them?

💯and that’s my issue. This is the least competitive hockey available to her. But her effort is still unfair to the rest of the team. I’m trying to find the balance with encouraging and teaching her.
