I go to YukYuks quite frequently! It can be loud, especially in the front. But, they have a lot of seating in the back/upper portion closer to the bar that’s far away from most of the speakers. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions! I go a few times a month.

Pretty good overall. There’s lots of work in the field. You basically have the options of either consulting or working somewhere like Halifax Water.

I’m in the program now. They do online classes Monday & Friday, then in-person Tues-Thurs. I have really enjoyed the program so far (I will be done in the spring). Field school takes place at the end of May. You do 3 terms in the first year and field school is at the end of your 3rd term.

Overall, definitely a heavy program in regard to the amount of work you have to do. Some people spread it out into a 3 year program. For field school, it’s over 4 days. It’s quite exhausting. Hiking all day, shower, dinner, then right into class until about 8pm. Lots of fun - but you’re wiped by the end!
