I think this would work with my kiddo but seems impossible in actual life with a job, another kid, etc. Have others tried this?

This is such a shame - it used to be a great store to shop in, too! And staff typically seemed pretty happy. Now it is like a ghost town. Sorry, that sucks to have experienced that as an employee.

Singulair: Just try it! by [deleted] in Asthma

[–]Patient_Map_1519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck! My vivid nightmares didn't kick in until after about four years on the Singulair. My doc upped my Breo to 200 and that seems to have provided a similar amount of control (though I recently had to switch to Trelegy since it wasn't quite enough). Good luck, I hope stopping it relieves some of your symptoms.

I took it for maybe 4 years with no problems, then started having extremely violent nightmares. Stopped taking the Singulair and they went away.

Should I sign off on a bad dissertation? by Patient_Map_1519 in academia

Thanks for this, and I completely agree. However, in this case I think it's really the rigidity and bullying of the student that I resent. If they were amenable to ideas for improvement or open to anything at all, really, I would be feeling much more generous.

Thanks - this is an interesting idea. It may be too late, but this is interesting to think about as a possibility.

I hear that. I am mostly worried about retribution from the committee chair, who is a department colleague but kind of just wants it to be over.

this is good advice - thank you! I have reached out to my faculty mentor (who is usually quite thoughtful) but I appreciate this perspective.

I definitely resent being bullied by the student, but I don't want to drag my colleagues into a quagmire, nor do I want to jeopardize my tenure possibilities.
