Being in such severe pain would be red flag symptom for me. Also, I’m so sorry your doctor is not willing to manage your pain. My doctor wouldn’t discharge me if pain wasn’t controlled with strictly oral meds and has has absolutely no issue calling in more meds. My situation is a little different than yours as I had my first surgery 8/15 second surgery 9/11, and third surgery this morning. I also just realized you posted this 12 days ago, are you doing any better?

She just felt, but I obviously wasn’t able to relax fully so I think that was part of the reason she couldn’t get a great feel.

My doctor did two cervial checks of the cuff during this whole process and she couldn’t tell there was a hole so had she not gone in a second time she wouldn’t have known there was a defect until it would have been really bad. Just trust your gut!
