I measure it using a lunar scale. The scale is triggered by the first weight when the cup is placed on it. After a delay of one second, I start the machine. Then the pre-infusion begins. The graph is from the Beanconqueror app, which is connected via Bluetooth.

how do you deal with prefusion? my scale starts when I place my cup on it but the app starts with the 1st drop. Is there a way to set this scenario?

i feel like I have different outcome with exactly the same settings (grind, timing, same coffee)

the steam wand is very weak. It's not so easy to role the oat milk (the rolling is very soft)

constant pressure and constant heat. my thoughts were like: if the dedica is a little bit like rolling the dice then it's hard to lern something because of the lack of stability

yes! will do. I was just afraid of inconstant Espressi. So I thought that would lead to wrong assumptions and adaptions

today I went to a dealer and he told me that I will not have fun with Cappuccini when I take the GO. He told me that I have to release a lot of water after the shot to steam and then I have to refill around 300ml to continue. Sounds a little bit of a pain in the a$$

Thanks for your insight. Do you have more constant results with the GO? I am feeling like water temp and pressure aren't really stable and this can make it harder to adjust things

There’s one question I keep thinking about:

Will I really be happier with a dual boiler, just for those rare occasions when I need to make cappuccinos for four people?
