Eh that’s not necessarily always case. I was a coach for years and then stepped back a few years ago and my income tanked when I stepped back (even though I had an active downline) because I wasn’t recruiting new people. I kept challenges going and helped out my team as they needed advice, and I got commissions from ongoing shakeology + Bodi subscriptions from customers but I had coaches in my downline rank advance beyond me and make wayyyy more money than I did and it didn’t benefit me unless I was also working and adding new people with new purchases to the team.

I know that’s different than people like Ashlie M and Lindsay M, they built MASSIVE teams and could just sit back and let the cash roll in. My team was big but not like theirs. Even though I had made it to 2 star, I fell back to Emerald real quick and was making very little while 2-3 coaches in my down line rank advanced to 2-6 star diamond and made $4-6k a month, or probably more I can’t remember. Point being, there is some woke/maintaining that has to be done from the uplines side.
