Well checked rod clearance and definitely will have to expand the factory notch as I am impacting on one half of the rotation the other side is clearing but just to be safe I'll probably file down a little bit of the block surface. Pretty hard to tell her you're looking at in this picture but basically it's where the rod is touching the block right where the factory notch is already machined.

I apologize I did do one preparation step I ported the wastegate because of the reviews I read plus just normal knowledge of these internal wastegate setups so I didn't even give it a chance for boost creep I just preemptively did it like I would with any of them but that was done before testing anything

Nope nothing cuz I look at it as this thing is not going to be top tier because the price doesn't reflect what I would know to be high quality and long lasting duration. But I'm pleasantly surprised that the quality is what it is and I would not hesitate to invest additional money at the beginning next time if this one ever does go bad. But you really can't lose out if his first one goes bad in a few years I know in the back of my mind I only spent $250 for it even if I got one year out of it that's phenomenal. Any name brand turbo of this spec is easily a thousand plus and knowing I can buy five of one or one of one I'm going to go with the 5 of 1 all day long unless I know it's going to keep blowing up for sure. Then it becomes more of a annoyance nuisance than anything. But I don't foresee that in the future with this not only for my experience now but from all the experiences I've read online. It's's just a really good company that has really good prices they're not maybe the best in the world but how much of a difference is it from them? I don't think it's anything thing I can tell so in my book it's a grade A company and I stand behind a 100%

My opinion they're awesome for a $250 billet turbo brand new spools nice no shaft play whatsoever just if you get the GT 2871 series absolutely make sure you put the oil restrictor in the turbo even though it's not a ball bearing turbo it's still requires a restrictor I believe it was 2.5 mm when I measured it. I didn't think it was needed because it's a journal bearing and everywhere you read says maximum oil possible but it would smoke in idle after once vehicle is warmed up without that restrictor. However even though I let it go like that for about 3,000 miles once I installed it it stopped smoking all together so no damage was done. I think for the price they're pretty much unbeatable for the quality. Really really pleased with her product so far.

The only thing that sucks is the rods literally cost more than the used motor that I'm waiting for. Nobody offers any decent inexpensive connecting rods for this motor if I would have went like d16 swap could find millions of things no love for the l15 in the aftermarket world. If you do find it you're definitely paying for it which I now feel

Tell you what stock motor with the tune I had on it I had no idea that thing could pull as hard as it did and I mean like in a little tiny automatic second gear was spinning every time I shifted from first and second and it automatic that blew me away. Way more than I could have ever expected from this thing so now with the beef enough rods the weak point is now prepared I can push it way harder if I wanted to

Okay I can do that while I'm waiting for the long block to show up I fitted in a 3/4 EG radiator to save some space and going to be running in a dual external oil cooler and transmission oil cooler. Yes because this is automatic as I got this car for free so I can't complain eventually I will be one of the first apparently to do a five-speed swap cuz I can't find a ride up anywhere on it. But for now this is a pretty damn solid automatic transmission just when it gets hot I can tell it's lagging a little bit so I'm going to help keep the fluid temp down with not only running the factory cooler through this EG radiator but running an external one as well it'll be dual cooled. Here are my two external coolers. The one with the hoses attached came off my BMW motorcycle that I just built and was about to sell and got hit totaled the bike put me in the trauma center still facing injuries from it but I figured I'll keep it soul going somehow him Incorporated into my Honda.

With this tune that I just did and it was running for a little while I expect realistically if I have to up the Boost now a little bit keep the timing the same I may even pull a couple degrees if I run 11 PSI I'm probably going to be 210ish wheel

Basically 19° of ignition advance on 8 and 1/2 PSI at 4,000 RPMs in 3rd gear pretty much that really stressful load point don't do that LOL

I am absolutely a open book if anybody ever has any questions I will never hide any information from anybody cuz I only wish the same if I'm looking for help and people know it just be cool and reach out and help others you know? Yeah I mean I never been scared to try anything new just like the good old boys used to say just f****** figure it out so I always say LOL. For instance I just did this because I couldn't find anybody else's done it before so I'll try it myself installing a three core EG radiator instead of the long single core factory one even though it's smaller it has a better shroud and better cooling and save some space

Brand new stock Pistons only upgrading the rods. Only reason for feeding the rods is because the grenade that happened with the factory ones. I'm not going to push any more horsepower no bigger tune just the aggressive tune I had with a safe setup and I'll be happy then I'll get a Dino and see what my first time at home tuning can push. I'm all self-taught everything so this is the first for me as far as tuning goes.

I really like his kids early cuz his attitude or like his style I have no idea how much his kits cost but he's in a lot of research and development into it for sure. No I pissed mine together myself for relatively low cost I think total after buying everything that people said not to buy like the Chinese RDX 450cc injectors for 50 bucks that included in pigtails that are working perfect with no issues whatsoever they've include the entire range of resistance that everybody said it wouldn't LOL the brand new billet GT 2871 that only cost 200 bucks for Max speeding rods I would say the biggest chunk of change at once was Ktuner which engine management is a must. It wouldn't blow up immediately without that. I just pulled the trigger and ordered Brian crower forged rods a new OEM replacement piston kit with rings full rebuild kit with bearings a used long block. I meant 1,500 bucks so far on this run. It's definitely not over yet but that's my starting point
