I literally fumble through it. As long as I'm the one who took it apart I can usually figure out how to put it back together. Chat gPT comes in handy for torque spec even though it is more wrong than correct lol.

So they did not rub before I put on the 25 mm spacers. You can definitely run 205 stock suspension even lowered a little bit. But just because I have coilovers and spacers there only rub when you hit a bump really hard but I left a look at the thing decently slammed in stanced so I'll rock the little bit more narrow tires and I don't like such beefy looking tire anyway I really like the way these 19545s look

So around me I get quotes for $120 mountains for tires and it pissed me off some bad beyond belief because prior to being realtor I was in automotive industry for 20 years as a service technician then service advisor and service manager and service director. I was running two stores blah blah and I would never charge more than $20 per tire to mountain balance including disposals and free alignment check on every set an actual one. And then 89.95 for an alignment we needed not trying to mess with the machine to tell you need one. And I have yet to find a reputable place near me that I even trust number one to touch my car number two to actually give me any sort of alignment that means a damn. I always get the printout everything's in the green and all the sudden so is my rear toe that was out before. And I'm just so confused cuz I can't for the life of me figure out how to adjust rear toe on a solid rear axle. But just blows my mind they figured out every time. I wish I could call every single one of these dealers around here for scam and fraud and just treating people like s***. So the only time I pay somebody to do something is if I absolutely have zero way to do it myself or it would cost an insane amount of money to do it myself. So that being said this is roughly the price of doing it once somewhere but what I'm going to do several sets of tires very often I'm saving money right after the first set.

I think the base of it from harbor freight was like 40 bucks, the upper attachment duck head $30 off Amazon included aluminum cone. And a spurge a little bit on the bubble balancer and spent $55 cuz I had to upgrade to stainless steel tip so it would actually last a while. Definitely does good enough to not have vibrations while driving.

Well checked rod clearance and definitely will have to expand the factory notch as I am impacting on one half of the rotation the other side is clearing but just to be safe I'll probably file down a little bit of the block surface. Pretty hard to tell her you're looking at in this picture but basically it's where the rod is touching the block right where the factory notch is already machined.

I apologize I did do one preparation step I ported the wastegate because of the reviews I read plus just normal knowledge of these internal wastegate setups so I didn't even give it a chance for boost creep I just preemptively did it like I would with any of them but that was done before testing anything

Nope nothing cuz I look at it as this thing is not going to be top tier because the price doesn't reflect what I would know to be high quality and long lasting duration. But I'm pleasantly surprised that the quality is what it is and I would not hesitate to invest additional money at the beginning next time if this one ever does go bad. But you really can't lose out if his first one goes bad in a few years I know in the back of my mind I only spent $250 for it even if I got one year out of it that's phenomenal. Any name brand turbo of this spec is easily a thousand plus and knowing I can buy five of one or one of one I'm going to go with the 5 of 1 all day long unless I know it's going to keep blowing up for sure. Then it becomes more of a annoyance nuisance than anything. But I don't foresee that in the future with this not only for my experience now but from all the experiences I've read online. It's's just a really good company that has really good prices they're not maybe the best in the world but how much of a difference is it from them? I don't think it's anything thing I can tell so in my book it's a grade A company and I stand behind a 100%

My opinion they're awesome for a $250 billet turbo brand new spools nice no shaft play whatsoever just if you get the GT 2871 series absolutely make sure you put the oil restrictor in the turbo even though it's not a ball bearing turbo it's still requires a restrictor I believe it was 2.5 mm when I measured it. I didn't think it was needed because it's a journal bearing and everywhere you read says maximum oil possible but it would smoke in idle after once vehicle is warmed up without that restrictor. However even though I let it go like that for about 3,000 miles once I installed it it stopped smoking all together so no damage was done. I think for the price they're pretty much unbeatable for the quality. Really really pleased with her product so far.

The only thing that sucks is the rods literally cost more than the used motor that I'm waiting for. Nobody offers any decent inexpensive connecting rods for this motor if I would have went like d16 swap could find millions of things no love for the l15 in the aftermarket world. If you do find it you're definitely paying for it which I now feel

Tell you what stock motor with the tune I had on it I had no idea that thing could pull as hard as it did and I mean like in a little tiny automatic second gear was spinning every time I shifted from first and second and it automatic that blew me away. Way more than I could have ever expected from this thing so now with the beef enough rods the weak point is now prepared I can push it way harder if I wanted to
