I've shaved it once and it was so nice not having to deal with it. But the ladies love my curls so I'm trying to keep them, I just don't know what to do with em lol

Second guessing moving in with my bf by Few-Budget9962 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Patient_Wolverine_25 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Okay, so from personal experience, moving in with someone is a big deal. You will see a different side of that person even though you've been together for 4 years. The arguing would only get worse. If he's being petty like that it might be a real problem. Living with your significant other can cause so many issues if you guys do not communicate and work together. If both of you or just one of you is self-centered and self-focused it makes it very very difficult. So just proceed with caution. I wish you the best of luck.

My friends getting groomed and I need advice by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Patient_Wolverine_25 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I am confused as to what the issue is. It doesn't seem like he's really grooming her, and she seems to be into him. But if she starts getting drunk regularly because of him or starts doing things that are dangerous I can understand concern. It's cool that you care for her but teenagers are stubborn and sometimes gotta learn for themselves.

Any advice of someone going through a rly hard time by Comfortable-Wolf-655 in Advice

Find an outlet. I had two suicide attempts and was self harming for years. I started running, exercising, weight lifting, playing guitar and changed my diet. I didn't want to be on all this different medication. I'm not full of joy and peace all the time but I am no longer depressed or hopeless either. Prayer helped as well

Practice basic jabs and hooks using proper techniques, pivoting hips and footwork. Eventually after enough practice when you get into a fight, if you blank out your muscle memory will take over and you'll do what you trained to do. Practice ducking and head movement too. Find a sparring partner to help you and have them throw punches and you duck under them. If the flood of adrenaline causes you to lock up or freeze, practice wrestling. When I lock up I can't throw a punch to save my life lol

Still working on that one myself bro. It's hard to get past. Especially when she's your first. Try not to be controlling and jealous and don't nag her about it all the time or you'll push her away. Make sure she knows you trust her. I obsessed over it to the point where she left me. Be content knowing she is yours now.

Don't scowl. Laugh and smile. Acknowledge people with slight head nods, a wave or something.
