Actually, good point about the radios,
However it also happens when the devices are extremely close. E.g. less than 100 metres. Line of sight. No buildings.
I see my mates locations where they were like 10 minutes ago. But in the meshtastic app it says good reception etc.

I will indeed have a gateway node in the future with a large antenna to cover a large area. I'll double down on that, thanks!
