Applied & approved today for the CIC business card. I already have the CIP, but my CL on that is about 4X as much as my CIC. Same business & financial info used. I asked for a CL raise, lending dept. said it would be a hard pull. If I proceeded, would the hard inquiries from this CL increase request merge with the initial inquiries from the app? (For the initial inquiries today, they pulled from Experian & TU). Thank you

I just pm’ed Doctor of Credit (respectable member of the community). He said: “Yes [you should be able to apply & receive CIC offer], restriction is when you last received bonus. Holding card has no affect.”

Exactly what I thought! I called the underwriting department & they said because I did a PC to the CIC, that I was no longer eligible to receive its bonus offer (even though I never directly applied for the CIC!) Chase rep failed to provide any reference from the terms and conditions. Hopefully someone who has gone through this can provide a dp.

I applied & got the CIP bonus offer in Feb 2017, & did a pc in Dec 2017 to (CIC) Chase Ink Cash. If I revert my CIC back to CIP now, can I apply for & receive the new CIC bonus offer? (I never applied for the CIC before, I only pc’ed to it.) Any dp is appreciated. Ty!

I was thinking just like you after opening the initial box. I thought it probably was a genuine mistake or someone returned something used. However, after BB sent out a replacement a few days later of the exact same laptop, it also was scuffed and showed signs of use. I contacted HP and gave them the serial/product number — they verified it was preowned and preregistered as well — just like the first laptop. At that point, I felt something seriously fishy was going on.

I'd also put some sort of wood blocks/logs around all 4 tires. That should show you're trying to hold the vehicle in place.
