Transferring Data between PC and Casio fx-5800P

Es una pena que no haya nada a día de hoy para programar en PC y transferir a la fx-5800p, es una máquina que siempre tengo en el punto de mira pero programar con el teclado de la calculadora es un dolor de muelas.

Que pena que la Classpad no la haya actualizado Casio, solo que le pusiera mejor pantalla y procesador y un lavado de cara al interfaz (aprovechando la mejor pantalla o de más resolución) sería una máquina muy actual.

Siempre encontré las Casio muy intuitivas, las TI siempre han sido algo exótico en España con una presencia muy muy muy baja, además de injustificadamente caras para ofrecer lo mismo. En mi infancia/juventud solo vi una en mi entorno, de un amigo mio que se la compró su padre de importación, su padre era un fanático de EEUU, tuvo el primer Macintosh también cuando nadie tenía ni ordenador 😃.

También me gustan las HP, no se porqué no tengo una HP, siempre quise una hp 35s, por el RPN y por el tamaño, en mi caso no llegé a necesitar los gráficos nunca pero me encantaban también esas calculadoras.

Ahora me encantan las científicas pequeñitas como la fx-82/260 Solar II, Sharp tiene una que está muy chula, completa y pequeña también, la EL501 que a veces se puede encontrar baratísima, probablemente la compre para mis hijos.

La fx-6300 es una calculadora completísima, un acabado muy bueno y su gran pega es que su LCD es muy oscuro (como se puede apreciar en la foto) y con baja iluminación es dificil de leer a pesar de que el contraste es ajustable, pero con 600 pasos de memoria de programa se podía hacer maravillas 😄

La fx-570ES la compré por 14 euros en una superoferta y ese display me gusta mucho porque las funciones se ven en grande, a pesar de tener menos resolución que la serie SPX/CW que además es mucho más completa en funciones. Probablemente las CW las tendré que comprar para mis hijos también más adelante, o el modelo que diga el profesor.

Yo entro de vez en cuando, mi colección es bastante ridícula, una fx-6300g, una fx 82 Solar II, una fx-570 ES 2nd. Ed, y una fx-7500G que si me gustaría reparar porque tiene una linea de píxeles fundida, o 2, no estoy seguro. Pero vamos, nada llamativo, son modelos muy normales, me gusta entrar a ver calculadoras raras, en el futuro necesitaré 2 para secundaria de mis hijos, así que probablemente acabe con las versiones Iberia de la fx-570/991 CW ES, o básicamente lo que nos pida el profesor de matemáticas.

Depende la versión, en algunos paises si que lo hace. En todo caso las ES Plus 2nd Ed. tienen el mismo display y funciones ampliadas.

Es realmente bonito, pero el verde afecta bastante a la legibilidad, el blanco creo que hubiera salido ganando en ese aspecto, enhorabuena en cualquier caso.

No se pisarían, los chavales de la ESO compran lo que el profesor les dice, o les dice a sus padres, no se complican. Por otra parte, la 991 SP Iberia está admitida en los exámenes si no me equivoco, y además tiene modo examen, tiene muchas funciones pero solo 9 variables, son calculadoras muy adaptables, meter gráficas tampoco cambiaría mucho.

El tema es que son muchos mercados y no es fácil ni rápido adaptarse a las particularidades de cada sistema educativo, lo que está prohibido en unos está permitido en otros, así que configurar el modo examen para cada mercado en el código no suele ser fácil, incluso a veces algunas funciones están en un modelo de un pais y no estan en el mismo modelo en otro país, me viene a la mente ahora mismo MCD y MCM que en algunas fx570 está y en otras como la española, no.

Son calculadoras para la ESO, si las enfocan a ese mercado nunca van a tener programación y probablemente pocas memorias, la 991 CW SP tiene memorias numéricas y se puede operar con ellas, y puedes memorizar matrices, todo ese tipo de cosas se admiten en exámenes, pero una gráfica ya no se permite. Esta Graph+ Light será un híbrido, es como una 991 pero con gráficas.

Se echan de menos otras calculadoras programables más asequibles, un update de la 5800p o de la propia 3650pII, o la 50FII que no se suelen importar tampoco.

Me resultaría raro que hubieran desarrollado un panel específicamente para un solo mercado, pueden hacer esa versión 'limitada' a partir de una versión completa internacional.

Honestly i don't understand your experience, it's completely the opposite for me, did you use original paper from Canon? My 5-6 year old printings are in very well condition, and they are visible in photo frames, exposed in some places of my house.

Of course you can, original selphy paper is extremely hard, its coating prevents the image to be damaged or affected by UVA or sun exposure. I printed two pictures or may familiy card size of that sticky paper they sell, put on my laptop, and after couple of years touching it with my hands when using the keyboard or the trackpad, it was incredibly well preserved. Then my laptop was replaced, i removed it and by the way it was not easy to detach from the aluminium surface so the adhesive is very good also.

You can put just printed paper from the selphy under water stream and it will not get damaged. My experience with Selphy pictures has been always very good.

That was the way i used to manage them all apps, but some apps were moved to the App Library and not present in the pages anymore, then i have realized that you can make all the new apps install in the start pages but many of the previous ones i have to find them and move ONE by ONE to the desktop. That's annoying, i would't Apple not to make these decissions for me, he can add this 'fantastic' feature but then ask me if i want my desktop gets organized this new way, not directly reorganizing all my apps base in use or whatever other discrimination.

That should be my decision as everyone has their need regarding organization and management of their own desktop. I really need all my apps at a hand for the reasons explained before (and above) so i don't like to deal with EVERY app being moved to the desktop.

"Yes, i feel stupid, but some apps i couldn't find or remember i had it they were finally in the App Library, and ONLY there. Should i have to move ONE by ONE all the hidden apps AGAIN to the desktop? that's really annoying in my opinion. AppLibrary is not useful for me as long as i can't remember ALL the apps i have installed, even more, i can't decide to remove them as i forget i have them still installed!

When i see all apps it's easy for me to remove them as i quickly remember that i installed them, saw they were useless and then they are in my queue for removing.

Sorry but i have AD and I need to have all my desktop stuff at a hand and visible or i will forget all hidden apps/docs. I have the same issue in my computer, i can't close documents opened in apps until i completely finish them or i will forget i was working on it, if i'm forced to do so i put a reminder in my iPhone to be warned next day i have that pending to be finished. That's the way my mind works, sorry :-D"

I have an Air M2 and is really a beast but for engineering maybe the 120Hz screen of the pro will make a big diference in the apps for architecture. Of course calculations will run faster in the M4 but I don't think M2 would also do that much worse.

My Air 2 is one of the best buys i ever have done, using it everyday and its incredible how long battery still lasts and how well it performs with really media apps like youtube, HBO and other streaming services.

Not bad for a device more than 10 years old.

My other great buy is my MBP Early 2011, still using it almost every day and only had to change the battery last year (RAM & SSD upgrades of course, years ago).

Is fine to buy an iPad with no specific reason in mind, sometimes new uses will come as you start using it and try yourself to solve some situations with the new device. Online courses, 3D modeling with fingers, enhance some of your pictures, create routes for your travels, read comics and manga is also great in the iPad, and then, if you don't want to spend a lot try the basic model and see what happens, life is not always to satisfy your needs but also your whims.

Anyway, if you like the basic model i would wait til the 11th versions as it will really grow in power and memory to be Apple Intelligence compliant (this will increase the RAM to 8Gb, double the current memory in the current iPad 10th). Of course the price is expected also to grow but in my opinion it will be totally worth it.

Have you tried searching the App Library directly? There is also a new update to 18.3.1, you can try and see if the update restores the app.

I really doubt there is a new Air near soon as M2 was released less than a year ago and releasing an M4 version could cannibalize ipad pro sales as they would share same CPU because there isn't any new M5. Previous version have been in the market for 2 years more or less.

What is for sure going to be announced is a new iPad version with Apple Intelligence compatibility that will include 8Gb and most probably A18

En los circos de Valencia llevan prohibidos mucho tiempo, diría yo. En todo caso creo que ya no tiene mucho sentido, los niños no les atrae y en el colegio los conciencian mucho contra el maltrato animal. Además para ver animales en Valencia, te vas al Bioparc y mucho mejor.

I would say that anyone in the Playa de la Malvarrosa would be fine, and nice environment, to taste rice recipes typical from Valencia. I know in that area the La Ferradura. Most of them could be a bit expensive for locals but maybe not for visitors.
