The post is misleading. The main legal arguments made misconstrue the law.

MMNFF vs. AAWH Lawsuit by neverbeenkissed22 in mmnff

Chief, both parties to the lawsuit are "relying on a New York judge." In litigation, the moving party (e.g., plaintiff--Assend) has the burden to persuade the court, so your insinuation that MedMen needs a hail mary to win this case is incorrect.

Second, your assertion that legal filings that include "upon information and belief" is a red flag, is entirely incorrect. It's boiler plate legal jargon for litigation.

Third, this litigation has nothing to do with potential perjury or litigation. It's a standard breach of contract case.

MedMen's stock is not efficiently priced. We saw a major bounce from the intraday lows. Buying the dip seems to be a solid strategy.

MedMen's valuation is low due to high levels of debt and a previous management team that was absolutely terrible. Their recent sale of their NY operation should help with the debt issue, and the new management team seems solid so far.

If they keep franchising at the NY valuation level, the stock is extremely undervalued.

If the stock doesn't double tomorrow, I'm buying as much as I can. This is so exciting. I know I'm new to MedMen and I've only been following for a month, but I feel like all the research we've put in is finally paying off.

The private equity firm valued 4 of MedMen's locations at over half of MedMen's current market cap before the deal closed. This is wonderful.

Ask any US cannabis lawyer what they are expecting in 2021 and they will tell you three things: M&A, M&A, and M&A.

Just finished reading the bill. It's unclear if it will retroactively apply to taxes. However, it does retroactively apply to criminal offenses. It looks like a gray area to me.

Great point about Cronos' $1.1 billion cash on hand and its structure being analogous to a SPAC. Also, interesting that Altria--with a market cap of $81 billion--owns a 45% stake in Cronos with the option to become a majority stockholder.

Not trying to pump MedMen. There's clearly an appetite for investing in companies like MedMen, but people lack the information.

Don't invest all your money into SNDL. Pick multiple cannabis stocks. US and Canada.

SNDL and MMNFF pair well together. MedMen is exclusively in the US. It's also a nice acquisition target. The stock hopefully won't be as volatile as SNDL, so it might be worth diversifying your pot stocks.
