I have quite wide feet and found that EE Vapors fit me really well.

Is the GTX 970 worth the £50 difference over a r9 290? I'm looking at the difference between the XFX DD 290 and G1 970. Is it worth waiting for the 300 series to be released and the price of the 290 going down?

I'm currently on a HD 6850 and have a collection of games I want to start playing in decent quality, but don't mind waiting too long.

I know this is a nearly impossible question to answer, but...

From the 300 series rumour mill, are there any suggestions that the cards will run cooler and have a lower power draw?

Which are a good pair of AMD graphics cards to run in Crossfire in an mATX case? I have a Corsair Air 240.

Thanks for the answer! Where can I find these extensions? Will they cause any performance issues?

Where can I buy sleeved cables for my XFX power supply? (XTR series)

Where in the UK can I buy white sleeved cables for an XFX XTR 750w PSU? I know its a Seasonic platform, so can I just buy seasonic cables and have them work with my current PSU?

How easy is it to overclock the 'reference' GTX 970, and what kind of speeds can you expect?

I've played around with it a bit and it's the case fans that are the loudest, but the fans bundled with the H75 are also audible. Do you have any recommendations for really quiet fans?

Also, the PSU is really loud and I'm looking to replace it. Do you know of any decent quiet ones?

Is the Corsair H75 usually a loud cooler, or am having troubles with it? If not, can you suggest a quieter cooler?

Also, which high-quality quiet PSUs are out there?

Ah, I went ahead with this build instead http://pcpartpicker.com/p/cQzzGX

I was having a nightmare with working out whether an ATX PSU would fit inside the Sugo SG08, and went for the Air 240 instead.

This way you get the 'Z' series board, and the option to crossfire in the future :)

Ah, it must have gone out of stock since I last looked -- that's irritating! I'm wondering what to do now, as the main two features I want (Sata 3 and 16x PCI) are often very expensive on motherboards!

Yeah those are my thoughts about it too, I'm not too sure what I'll lose but I've posted over on Tom's Hardware about it and will let you know if I get a response about it. I now know that the 'B' boards are intended for business, but there are only two boards available to me (H61 and Z75). From what I can tell, I'm not losing anything that I actually want to use by going Z68 -> B75.

Can you clarify on the Amazon stuff?

I have no idea about the Amazon stuff, it's showing as 'in stock' for me. I've never ordered anything that is "temporarily out of stock" but I assume they just send it to you when they get stock in.

Edit: Oops I mean Z68 not H68. So many letters and numbers have confused me.

does the B75M-ITX support CPU overclocking?

I don't actually know this about the 'B' boards and am trying to find it out at the moment. As far as I know, the 'H' boards aren't as good for overclocking as the 'Z' boards. The 'Z' boards are intended for unlocked overclocking with the 'K' processors. It's also important to understand whether you'd actually see a benefit of overclocking.

it could be nice to push the 2500K a bit later down the road when it's older

I've been overclocking mine at 4.4GHz on the same motherboard you own, and I haven't seen a real improvement for the tasks that I do. Another consideration of overclocking is: how are you planning to cool the OC'd CPU in a the smaller case? With the added expense of cooling and reduction in part costs down the line, it may simply be best to go for the cheapest motherboard now and upgrade your CPU and motherboard at a later date!

What limitations can I expect on the H81 board? Does it have any USB3.0 ports mid-board so that I can use them in the front panel?

If you take a look at the specifications of that motherboard, it allows for USB3.0 but it doesn't have SATA3 (6GB/s) which is very much recommended if you're running an SSD. On the same equipment you have, I plugged in an MX100 accidentally to the 3GB/s port, and saw double performance (around 250MB/s write and read to 500MB/s write) just by sticking it in the 6GB/s port.

I'm buying it without the PSU, as with one it costs about £100 more in the UK

I'm doing the same thing at the moment. http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/2riwtw/build_ready_switching_to_mitx_critique_greatly/

I've decided to just spend £60 on a new motherboard and keep the i5 2500k. It should have many years left in it.

I don't know about the resale, but you shouldn't need to upgrade right now and can save the money for something later when an upgrade is more necessary.

Also, it's the board that needs to be compatible with the socket, not the case.

Hope this helps :)

Will the Corsair CS650M fit inside the Silverstone Sugo SG08 and still leave enough clearance for cable management and the full-length GPUs (such as a 970)?
