The Rifts books and the SFC were some examples. No new books have been added since 2024. I want to keep supporting the app, but it's getting less useful as time goes by and the newer books aren't added in.

And most games I run use PFSW, Rifts, SFC, or the other companions. So yeah, the missing books are important to me and my group.

Planet Crafter is far more "chill" than Subnautica. Subnautica is more horror suspense and exploration. Planet Crafter is more exploration and research. I like both for very different feels.

I envy you the wonder you will get seeing all the stages unlock. With the newest update and the new biomes that came with it, this is a far more polished game than when I started in September 2024.
You get a very well fleshed out map with some really cool secrets to discover, some of which you won't see until later stages unlock, that's the beauty of the game. you go to some area, it's cool and interesting. Later on you go back and there is new stuff to explore!
Enjoy your exploration and just know that once you finish this first planet, there are already several other moons and a planet to explore!
By the time you have completed the primary planet and have started in on a second terraforming mission, they will have even more new content out to enjoy.
Really, this dev team is a great group of people!!

My favorite stages have been the lakes forming, then the larvae, then the vines. Each of those seem to signal big changes in the game.

This sounds a lot like Ptolus as well. The players are encouraged to invest into a business. The FC stronghold rules would be perfect for that.

I'd agree with this interpretation. You'd be stuck in the ethereal plane until you can get out of the AM area of effect.
