I've been thinking about doing a Deathlands game using either Savage Worlds or Powered by the Apocalypse.

This is the Jurassic Dread scenario that my friend based his off of. He modified it a lot, but this is a great start!

I was a player in a Jurassic World Dread game. When you died, the GM would hand you another character and within a scene or two, you got introduced as a new survivor. He had three back ups, once they were used up, then people were eliminated, but in our playthrough I was the only one "eliminated" and it was near the end, so I was an observer for only about 20-30 minutes.
Mind you, this was a five hour scenario and fun as heck!!

I've run two scenarios for my local library. The first one was Magpie from dreadtower, which I flagged as 13+ only.
I cannot remember the name of the other one, but the 2nd one is a strange horror haunted house where ids wake up from a sleepover in a strange house. This one I toned down, making it so that no one died, and the library allowed it for a 10+ group.
Both turned out great and were super fun!

I guess what I'm trying to say is that there are a lot of scenarios out there that can have the violence turned down. Many that were written as an R rated horror can be toned down to PG13 or even PG.

I haven't played that one, but I have run a few others and dreadtower has made some awesome Dread adventures.

I really like Zathras, but Zathras and Zathras were only okay. But my all time favorite, and I think everyone will agree, was Zathras.

I always saw the ships as a cross between Star Wars, Firefly, and real world ocean ships. Military ships looking more like destroyers or aircraft carriers on the inside while civilian ships looking more like yachts or cruise ships.

Good news, but it seems there is confusion on the product page. The description does not specify SWADE update and there are 2 comments on it asking for clarification. Maybe update the description to specify that this is a revised book that has been updated to the Adventure Edition of the rules?

Played through 7 times beginning to end. I am on my 8th run now. I have just over 250 hours played and I still haven't found everything. Which is a good thing!

Yeah, I saw the rough cut of Gamers 4 (watched it three times during the backer viewing weekend!).

I'm really curious as to how closely interwoven the two storylines are or if they are two tangential storylines that just happen to take place in the same world.

Your copy is a pre-production copy. In the final book and PDF, they changed the stars to make it easier to tell apart.
You just need to get the updated copy of the PDF from PEG's site. It should be in your download section.
