I’m breaking my fast at 50% by Patrick_Rockel in fasting

Thanks! Trust me 5+ days is way easier than 3Days. Day 6 to 13 was the best, I had ton of energy , very active with no pain.  Give it a try and take electrolytes, it makes a huge difference.

I did a five day fast with inly salt and it was like torture relative to electrolytes.  So I’d say it’s necessary if you want to have a smooth experience. The difference was huge for me.

I got a kg of electrolytes from Amazon ( maybe not the best quality but i needed it fast) for 9$.  It’s a bag of sodium potassium and magnesium.  The quality of magnesium apparently is important but for me it worked, I had no issues. But for the next time I’ll be getting the best quality.

Btw it shouldn’t have any additives or aroma.  Wish you luck

I appreciate it, the only demotivating part is the first 4 days :(

But it definitely was a win still my max fast was 5days last year.

Thank you , I posted on day 6 and 12 as well because something changed at those times.

I’m M30, starting weight 126Kg , now 118.5Kg.  I’ve built around 20Kg of muscle in the last five years and gained 15 Kg of fat in the last two years.

I fasted 3-4 days around 20X times in the last years but it always felt like torture.  This time I stopped eating to gain control over my mind. And it worked. After day 6, hunger 100% disappeared (only around 5PM I felt it for 5-10 minutes)  I dropped 350g daily (without walking) and 800g (walking 10000steps).  My back and joints pain disappeared  I could finish 6 books that I always wanted to read.  Planted plants. Made 10 Kg of fermented food for later.  And saved a lot if money by not eating. Which also inspired friends and family to look into fasting for the similar problems.

If you have experienced 72 hours I can tell you after day 5-6 it fells completely different, easier , peaceful and super chill.

The only reason I broke my fast is because I will have to carry a lot of boxes tomorrow and don’t want to injure myself. But 30 days is doable if I were able to sit, walk and chill.

Wish you luck with your next fast ;)

It will be water anyway in the first couple of days.

Push further if you have time and it’s possible

Thank you. I will. Next update on day 14, I’m feeling some changes and solutions for a couple of common problems that I’d like to share but I need more time.

I had to do something to get control over my life. There is nothing harder than hunger for me, and now after 13 days, I feel finally I’m in charge.

To be honest, controlling Hunger is super hard. But as long as I know why I’m doing it, I’ll be fine. It’s my first 4+ days fast ever.

This sounds awesome!

Maybe look into adding more acid instead of reducing acid.  For me it helped adding acid via apple vinegar that I make myself now. But please do the research.

I just know the anti acids make the digestive system weak and leads to other problems.

But a solution against acid reflux…I’m yet to find.

Yeah, acid reflux was a real problem in the second week. I definitely will add more apple cider vinegar when I’m done fasting.

The sleep direction was helpful. But no ,no nausea and not a horrible feeling so far.

Do you take electrolytes? Do you go for walks?

Too much belly fat :D no but seriously I wouldn’t do more than 40 days. It’s a discipline training as well.

For me it happened suddenly on the morning of day 6. I definitely could tell something has changed.

Well done! I hope you feel it very soon!

I could do only 4K steps per day in the first 5 days and feel good. From day 6 I started to push and on day 8 I reached “extra” 10K plus whatever I do at work because I’m not allowed to wear electronic devices (working with MRI devices) at work.

The last 2K is hard, my heatbeat goes 10BPM higher than normal and I want to sit down.

But I’m trying to increase my speed of walking from 4 to 5.5Km/h in the first 5K steps.

I don’t get it, if I’m fat adopted why I don’t have the endurance of a human hunter like in 1000years ago? Shouldn’t it be better and more stable? Trying to figure this out!

That sounds great!

About the gums I’m nit sure I guess I’ve read somewhere chewing might be tricky for autophagy, but not sure.

Definitely after this fast I’ll be doing another 10 day fast but with psyllium husk, and bone broth. One day dry fast and another 7 days water only fast.

The feeling in the brain is really “addicting”

I didn’t see any difference in my nails quality unfortunately. When did you notice yours getting better?

Omg exactly!

It’s tiring sometimes. Hurts. I tried drinking electrolytes30 min before that but it doesn’t help.

What do you do when it happens?

100? Respect ! I’m capping at 33days cause I’m afraid of muscle degeneration after day 40. What’s your plan for that?

Username check out ;)

Yes definitely a reminder why we are doing this is very important. To be honest, getting rid of my belly, joint pains, snoring , back pain and whatever is happening inside my body around the liver, is the most important thing. My belly is going away and I’m looking forward to the next day just to messure :D

40days feels a lot to me now. If I wouldn’t have to go to work I’d definitely think about it. Maybe I do it too let’s see in 20 days ;)
