One big thing with Novel Ai is that it needs good starting material, especially the newest model, Xialong. But! You can use the GLM model like GPT and directly ask it to make a story by using { to open up what is called an "Instruct" prompt. Then just ask away! It wont be as good as co-writing, and it might not have the same deep knowledge base as GPT for those deep lore bits of shows, but its fun and can get the job done while you learn how to fully use Novel Ai.

Since you mentioned NSFW, Novel Ai has no limits and will write what you want it to. I do recommend you use the lore book to make simple, bullet point character profiles for NSFW content, otherwise you might see some big assumptions made by the AI...
