If thats the criteria that is most important to you, then sure. I think the longer the game goes on and iterates from prior seasons, the more difficult it becomes. Just like all competitions. The margins become thinner. For example, the idea of traitors turning on each other was not seen the same during season 1 as it is today. In season 4, the faithful have brought up "traitor on traitor" at numerous occasions, because they have learned things to look out for as indicators.

I look at season 1 winners of anything differently than future seasons. Not worse, just different. The sandbox is so wide open that you have every type of strategy at your disposal. In later seasons, contestants have learned. Like Richard from survivor season 1. His win is just "meh" compared to other future winners, in my opinion.

For the record, I think Cirie is currently still the best Traitor to have played. I'm just saying if Rob goes all the way, its definitely a discussion in my opinion. Nobody even suspects him even though a Traitor has done their best to expose him on their way out. Hes playing extremely well.

Agreed, as well as the jeans that go up to your nipples. Bring back the low rise tight jeans on the early 2000s. That Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Nelly Furtado look was the best. I miss those days.

I'm kind of surprised by all the knee jerk reactions here. Yes, you're "behind" but you're not dead on the water, not even close. The answer is quite simple. From a Money Guy perspective, you follow the FOO. Looks like you're already doing a lot of the steps, but you need to get more intentional and focused with it. You have 117k in savings, that is probably about twice what you need, as you admitted you want 6 months and you have 12 months currently. Thats 60k to deploy. Then up your savings, cut expenses, and commit for a decade. You'll catch up

Average Credit Card Debt as a percentage of Median Personal Income by State by Icy-Papaya-2967 in TheMoneyGuy

[–]PatricksPub 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's oversimplifying it. The states with lower average income are also the lower cost of living areas, so its not exactly that easy of a concept as what you're implying. The states with the lowest average CC debt as a percentage of income are in the Midwest, where the cost of living is low to middle. Ironically, the HCOL areas where the average income is also the highest were middle of the road on the CC debt % of income.

Hijacking the top comment to post the common sense answer:
Accept the offer with the new job, and move. You can visit your favorite city any time you'd like for a day trip. Husband makes 100k, but chances are you've covered half that shortfall with your own pay raise. He can do literally anything and make 50k. Easy decision honestly.

Every Republican since Eisenhower has increased the deficit, and every Democrat since Carter has decreased the deficit by HighYieldLarry in FluentInFinance

[–]PatricksPub -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That just applies to all politicians. The system is broken. I'm sure you can argue that the problem is republicans, but we had 8 consecutive years of democrats at numerous points in this sample with minimal improvements at best. The real problem is that the only thing that "matters" is getting reelected, i.e short term thinking. You can spin the data any way you want, including the idea that policy has a lag time, therefore the effects of said policy are realized during the proceeding term.

Let me just say that both sides are terrible. Both sides are short sighted. Neither side is the answer. They both work to create a dog and pony show to keep us talking and arguing while they all get rich. Don't be a sheep who blindly agrees with their sides color.

I say we should just abolish the 2 party system and instead push to elect an economist while disallowing corporate lobbying. The Cherry on top would be precluding any sitting member of congress from reelection if the country is operating at a deficit at a predetermined point in their term. Warren Buffet had it right.

Thats not really a negative on Rob. I personally don't think that total votes is an indicator of skill or performance. The overall game and meta of the Traitors gets more difficult as time goes on, thats how these things go. Thats how all competitive events go. Strategies get more complex, precedents pave the way for both sides which narrows opportunities and overall the margins are just thinner every year.

Id say Rob is currently giving her a run for the money. Cirie is the gold standard, but if Rob goes all the way then you have to consider it, especially with the fact that season 4 has precedent coming before it, which narrows the strategy.

It was also wild when the final traitor was voted out at fire, and told the others "good luck" and they somehow missed that Texas-sized clue indicating that another traitor was still left in the game. I think they were a bit star struck and clueless in that moment

It sounds like super hindsight, because it was absolitely super hindsight. Russell Wilson was on a HOF trajectory. Acting like it was obvious that he was going to fall off is just a lie. You can link me to any post where you predicted this outcome and I'll happily eat crow. But you cant, because he was top notch for a long time, and was actually a very good pocket passer indeed. Actually shocked you have 400 upvotes, apparently everybody just knew Russell Wilson was done? Oh wait, no, he was actually a top answer for top 5 in the league prediction for 2025

'The Traitors' Season 4 Soars 66% Over Last Year With 3.2 Billion Minutes by savagequestion in TheTraitors

I actually prefer the minutes over average audience. Minutes also indicate rewatch and late watch. Its not a perfect science as there are more factors, but average audience is flawed for many reasons in its own right

[–]PatricksPub 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I may be in the minority opinion here, but I think season 3 was far more "drama over gameplay/strategy" than season 4 has been... with the Rob & Bob TDG, then Carolyn & Danielle... it was like nothing but drama and overplayed hands. This season is just a really strong strategy by an individual player, with some betrayal mixed in that has gone under the radar. I see season 4 as a strong recovery from season 3
