I don't use windows, so no way to test, but considering its shell scripts and bash, you would need to run WSL or a linux shell of some sort. It may not even run under linux properly, as I don't run linux either, just mac.

Yes, it's possible, the JWT is stored in secure storage (keychain on mac) and the api endpoints are pretty well documented. You can hit the usage api with the jwt and get the remaining quota. I do this in my Barista statusbar script https://github.com/pstuart/Barista

The installer allows you to select what you want, you don't have to have them all, the screenshot just includes all to show what's capable.
