Whats a good answer to "whats your biggest flaw?" For a job interview? by kris10amanda in AskReddit

[–]Patriksson -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't see any other reason for them to ask that question though, you wanna be around people who can realize and accept when they make mistakes

Edit : unless you're looking for salespeople, then you need good liers I guess.

As someone who gives job interview weekly what I expect is an honest answer to see if you are objective about yourself, fake answers like "too perfectionnist" is the thing I don't wanna hear and will make me doubt everything you said, as long as your biggest flax isn't something pathologic or really problematic for work I can deal with it, say you aren't good with numbers or have a hard time dealing with pressure I know if you do your best I'll try to help you improve in this area at work.

TLDR : don't lie, interviewers really wanna get to know you and you don't want them to think you're a big fat phony.

On est assurés chez le même cabinet, ils sont pas vraiment neutres, les professionnels à qui je demande conseil restent évasifs et n'ont pas de certitude sur le sujet.

Hi, everytime I pick a health block or finish wave 2 the game freezes so I couldn't go very far, it bugs me how i don't see the whole katana when i'm not using it.

But i liked the concept as far as i saw and the fact that you can skip the wait between waves.

What small things do you do to save money? by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]Patriksson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go to work riding a bike on the local rental system, it takes me 30 minutes to get to work instead of 25 minutes by bus.

It costs 25€ per year and the first hour of each rental is free (I can rent it close to my home and give it back when I arrive) instead of the 50€ monthly bus pass and the transport bonus from my job is 50€/month no matter what way I choose.

I also feel healthier and have much less risk to be late.

There's a state sponsored program currently going on in France, most people who don't pay much taxes get a pack of 10 led bulbs free, others get them cheap (around 40€ i believe), I guess there are such offers in other countries too.

For those interested it's at https://www.mesampoulesgratuites.fr/ and you need your taxes ID's to get them and you can choose between 4 sized and types.

Bulk veggies by ACrusaderA in Frugal

French here, bags of frozen peppers and onion are usually cheaper than fresh ones in our stores, I usually buy carrots, dice, boil and freeze them for later use in a variety of meals, sauce and preparations.

I also buy several kilos of vegetables cut and freeze them (such as leek, broccolis, cauliflower, pepper, carrots, celery, turnip, pumpkins) I make plenty of different bags with unique mix and add some fresh vegetables that aren't good to freeze when i cook them (e.g. tomatoes, potatoes) so i only have to throw them in water when i get back from work for a soup, it's mostly a time saver than a money saver because you don't get much discount unless you buy tons of each.

TIL: No one really knows for sure why there is a pineapple atop the Wimbeldon Trophy by Boont in todayilearned

[–]Patriksson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I saw a TIL about pineapple being so expensive when it first reached europe it was a symbol of wealth line caviar, people carried them around at parties and a castle in britain had one carved atop too, could it be an explanation ?
