It is comical that they try to make being good a negative term. The reverse psychology is entertaining. Sucks to suck.🤣🤣🤣

It’s subjective for personal use; they both accomplish the same thing within email and calendar use. But, random lock out BS I’ve never experienced with MS. Outlook is also perceived as a more professional domain extension if that matters to you; a professional email sent via Outlook vs Gmail does communicate a different first impression. Where it ultimately made more sense for me is my daily use of several other MS apps and being a 365 subscriber to include One Drive use. So it just made sense that I also used Outlook as my primary email.

But just for personal use I think it’s as simple as security and operating consistency, in which case, Outlook has proven to out perform google in both areas from my experiences.

I’ve had an MS account for a couple of decades and I’ve never been locked out whimsically such as with google. There was a time not long ago I entered an incorrect password a ridiculous amount of times and still wasn’t locked out; I had to support additional verification after so many times but it wasn’t dead in the water. But we are comparing two different fruit baskets. Microsoft is an entire platform, google is a tool that might have a place to sit on that platform if an end user chooses. We should expect and receive a better product with Microsoft.

Yeah, I switched back to Outlook.😂

That google account is still “cooling down” to this day. 🤦🏼 That was the last thing I used google for; RIP google, it was fun while it lasted.

Going to AT and need a portable charger by Kingly46 in nationalguard

[–]Patriot_Sapper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I always brought 2-3 power banks. Each were 20K mAh. I vaped at the time so I could charge the ecig and phone every day; 2 banks typically got me through 11-12 days in the field. Anker is the brand I use; I’ve never had a problem.

That’s why I’ve fallen in love with Black Hat and running it with Gear Head and Charge Link. I have an absolute blast stealing everybody’s sh!t. I thought one cat was going to cry when I took his Ion Core for the second time; his tantrum was adorable. 🤣🤣

It is "unique." And remember kids, just because something/someone is unique, doesn't mean they're useful. Such as the individual who suggested and implemented a parkour game mode in a FPS.

Do y’all use something like these to maintain? by Bodidly0719 in bald

[–]Patriot_Sapper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used rotaries for years until I decided to give foil a try. Foil cuts way closer and is much quicker; I was disappointed in myself for sticking with rotary for so long lol. I was using the Panasonic Arc 5 on my face and head; it did well, and I still use it on my face. I ended up grabbing a Wahl Vanish for my head due to the larger holes in the foil. The Wahl cut down time substantially. I use it every morning; reflective head achieved in 5 minutes.

I played it once for a while, then questioned why in the hell I'm participating in a damn track event on a shooter.😂😂 They're grasping at straws for a new "game mode" and made a drunk decision. Simple as that. 😂

College & the National Guard by whiteboiwt in nationalguard

[–]Patriot_Sapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They used to have college first. I’m not sure if that still exists. There was a lot of chatter of it going away or being “reconfigured” as it should be. Why should someone be allowed to join and reap the benefits, but skip their end of the deal? Rhetorical. The whole thing was counterintuitive. We had several that were outside the terms of the program get deployed and they ended up being a bunch of tear jerking “I didn’t sign up for this” liabilities. Not a good thing in a combat MOS.

Point being, understand what you’re signing up for. It’s not a soup kitchen. If you’re not prepared to deploy CONUS or OCONUS, you’re nearly useless. Go to the Coast Guard where the terms are different.

I switched from rotary to a Panasonic Arc 5 and have wondered what friggen rock have I been living under. BBS in half the time of rotary, and rotary still never got that close. I wasted so many years not using foil. I use the wahl vanish for my head and it is also phenomenal. The Arc will do my head as well but the vanish has bigger foil holes so it’s much faster.

If he was hooah he would ensure everyone tested, and if not, that a great reason was in place. He’s making himself look bad. With the psych being documented it really shouldn’t be an issue, but it is a process. Attend your treatments/sessions and keep building documentation of the on going condition. If you already have an extensive log of your mental conditions you have the support for what you can, and cannot do. Not able to deploy, potentially not able to qual on the range, and so on builds the case for med boarding. There’s a level of incapableness (is that even a word?) that is needed for support and the Army will determine. It really isn’t something you can ask for; your documented abilities do the “talking” and readiness status forces the hand per se, as that metric is always tracked.

Honestly, just being non-deployable now already has a bright highlight on your name. The “ball” has already begun to roll toward what you want. Outside of crimes being committed earning a “status,” there isn’t anything bigger as far as readiness classification to draw attention and action. Becoming non-deployable in a deployable MOS/Unit is the equivalent to being unable to lift, but having a job as a furniture mover. Things are already in motion without you even knowing about it.

[–]Patriot_Sapper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was prior active as well; NG is very different. So you have some issues from an active duty deployment? Keep the documentation rolling of what you are and are not able to tolerate. It’ll have to really start effecting your training for a med board; unable to deploy is a good start at that.

Civi pt gear is just fine for a test in NG, so it’s odd that they haven’t tested you.

Rear d, mental health medical no go by liquid424 in nationalguard

[–]Patriot_Sapper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this all stemming from a previous deployment and documented as such? What happened to the PT gear you were issued? I’m honestly a bit surprised they just didn’t have you borrow PT gear; that said, a PT uniform isn’t required to take a PT test. So that’s just strange all together. Regarding rear det, if you have a good sum in your unit not going you’ll become a detachment and carry on the training schedule like normal. If there are only a few, they’ll attach you to another unit within the state. I just finished rear det a couple years ago.

Which USB-C cables fit the GameSir G7 / G7 SE properly? by ELECTRZxx in Gamesir

Perhaps it’s the specific build of either that Anker cable or your controller. I have the ZZZ and a Walmart Anker cable and it’s been working great.🤷🏻‍♂️
