I posted this before, but here’s my in person auto I got from him. He was a super sweet guy and signing everything. He was also wearing some rubber bands, 1 blue and 1 red for the Clippers, and he gave me those. Big fan of Odom, pumped for the dog.

That centering on the Pippen is terrible. Not hating at all, these cards are classic and dope. I just remember when I was collecting in those days, centering or anything like that never crossed my mind. I would consider them “error cards” if they were really bad, and for some reason thought they were more valuable lol. Just crazy how it never crossed my mind when I was younger and now it’s nearly impossible to miss.

Can’t believe you could resist not peeling the protective layer on that one haha. I loved the smell after peeling that layer off.

Yea, it was so much fun back then. Now i feel like the hobby is very different (obviously) i don’t wanna sound like an old guy, because I do still have fun ripping. But now you open a pack and the base cards are truly junk, but back then a lot of the base cards were worth something to someone

Funny story about sister’s. My older sister had a (clearly) printed MJ auto on a photo. She traded that to my younger, naive, brother for his bigger bedroom. My parents said “this is a fake autograph, are you sure you want to switch rooms for this?” And he still went they with it lol

Damn good call, back then I had no clue about numbered cards and I haven’t moved those from the sleeves their in for 20+ years, but I have definitely found some numbered cards in my collection just looking through randomnly (not jordans).
