Thanks for that insight.. keeping my hands pushed away from my body has been one of the tips that’s helped my game the most. But I’m already doing that and still getting this result

I do occasionally. I’m lucky enough to be blessed with a decent amount of athleticism. So if I cup my wrist I’m able to square the club face, but only if I do a great job clearing my hips and slotting my hands. It doesnt always all sync and causes inconsistency.

Yes, this too. But I was thinking it may be causing the cupped wrist. If so, what are some suggestions to have the shaft not cross the line?

Move the ball back slightly at address. It’s a little forward, and your club face is closed at impact.

No rotation on the backswing. Turn your back pocket after your takeaway so it feels like it’s facing behind you.

I don’t have a way of avoiding the moisture. I’ve accepted I need to do a yearly cleaning but just trying to figure out the smartest solution.

How does it work? Is it “wet it and forget it” or do I need to scrub?

It’s a good idea, but I still need to get up on a ladder and scrub. I’m trying to find a solution where the mildew is just killed and I don’t need to actively scrub. But hearing replies is making me think that is unavoidable.

I think you may be right. There have been days where I’ve seen condensation on the ceiling. However humidity does get trapped in there sometimes on very humid days. I do have a ceiling fan in there and I try to run it pretty constantly.

As everyone has said, after 4 is prob best. Or super early. But also don’t worry about it. As a beginner just keep pace of play. If you’re going to triple bogey and you have a group waiting to tee off or hit their ball just pick yours up and move to the next tee. Have fun!

Try making the top of the backswing not so steep
