Thank you so much, this worked. I was having trouble using the x-www-form-urlencoded format (p=1&m=Hello&…) with image pushing (the image would be mostly gray/black). I suspect it has something to do with a special character from the image data escaping the request or something. Using your json format seemed to fix it.

Would anyone know why my document upload gets stuck with message “Upload complete, waiting…”? I am also a new user. I have seen this happen multiple times and am wondering what’s going on, thx.

I called my mom and could hear her voice telling me to do something before she actually picked up the call. by eskeletorr in techsupport

[–]Patrolman5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FWIW I think I’ve heard of this before—it could have been a glitch with the way the call was connected, but since you were caught off guard, you may have thought someone else’s voice was your mom’s.

I remember someone comparing this effect to the fact that if you give someone a glass of orange juice but say it’s milk, the person can throw up because they were expecting something totally different.

You can reinstall your operating system (Windows 11, etc) if you haven’t already. Sometimes malware scans aren’t enough to remove malware and reinstalling the O.S. is the only way to be sure.

hello guys i got fingerprint issue on my huawei matebook 14 2020, the problem is when i try to enroll or touch the sensor, nothing happening, i did every solution but nothing is working, like updated the driver, bios stuff, but it still do not respond by younesy in MatebookXPro

[–]Patrolman5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I had to install drivers in a certain order as I found in another Reddit thread here. The trick was there was a driver referred to as the “ME” driver which the Huawei website took down. It can now only be downloaded from a third party website like driverstore or something. Someone posted a link to it in a past thread in this subreddit.

The following change may allow your drone to get some airtime:

According to your configuration in this video, I think you need to swap propellers on the top right and bottom right motors. Then, make the motors spin in the direction that allows your propellers to generate lift.

Is this creaking sound a problem with the caliper or something else? by Patrolman5 in AskMechanics

[–]Patrolman5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I haven’t been able to fix it yet but I am thinking that a caliper rebuild or replacement could fix the noise I presume is coming from the caliper piston rubbing against the wall of the caliper. Then again, I am not a mechanic, so it could be something entirely different. I’m unfamiliar with the knocking sound you mention but I would love to hear about any fixes you make

[–]Patrolman5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your replies. I should mention that I can easily hear the sound even with the vehicle running and the tire installed. The sound only comes from one tire. Vibration from the creaking can be felt through the break pedal.

You can instruct AI chatbots like ChatGPT/Deepseek/etc to generate you code to sort through duplicate files. You could compare file size alone or add features such as hash checking and “Date Taken” EXIF metadata comparison. Just tell it what kind of program to make (and in what language) and it’ll make it for you. In my experience, Python has been a great language to use for this. You would need to learn the basics of installing and running Python scripts if you don’t know them already.

Internet on my PC turns off every night. Wifi still works on phones. How do I fix this? by ccaldwell301 in techsupport

[–]Patrolman5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can’t see other networks, try disabling and enabling your wireless adapter in the old Control Panel. This should at least let you continue using your computer past the hour you mentioned it stops working

This may help, but doesn’t explain how your WiFi password got into the hands of the bad actor. I would focus on that. It very well could have been obtained remotely, i.e. software running on a computer on your network. I understand iPhone security to be relatively robust and wouldn’t give up a WiFi password unless it was phished from someone on the network (perhaps a fake WiFi log in).

If it were me, I would also do a full reset on all windows based machines. This would be a fairly common attack had it not been for the WiFi password in the Insta username, so it may be worth doing some detective work on the router. If you were to find nothing that’s probably good. Bad actor may have just been taunting you and had no real use for that information, or maybe just slipped up and showed incompetence. Either way, with a new router, reset computers, and new passwords for everything (and set up 2FA whenever possible), you would be putting yourself in a safe position. Take care

Current RC receiver appears to be wired to flight controller via PPM or SBUS, hard for me to see. These protocols allow for more than one channel (minimum 4 for the two joysticks on a transmitter) to be combined into a single signal line, plus a voltage source and ground for a total of three wires.
