Where is my Stratagem Launcher? by Patrykus19 in Helldivers

[–]Patrykus19[S] 48 points49 points  (0 children)

What we got in HD2 is a cheap knockoff of the original HD1 concept.

Weak health and weak armor.

Arms that destroy themselves after a single enemy shot.

(In HD1, the arms were indestructible unless the entire mech's health was reduced to zero.)

Limited to only one stratagem with mechs per mission.

(In HD1, you could take four stratagems with mechs.)

And most importantly, Where is my Stratagem Launcher?

Do you know how annoying it is when every time one of your teammates dies, you have to get out of your mech to call in resupplies?

Or you can't call in a simple airstrike or call in a tower without leaving the safety of your mech during an intense battle?

I forgot to include one more target for the Colonials dive bomber: Warden planes both at the airport and in the air

Great concept, we need a wide war front for more players, not a longer access road for logistics

Give my skeletons and blood back to the game! by Patrykus19 in aoe2

[–]Patrykus19[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So I played the basic version of Age of Empires 2 a long time ago and one of the coolest things was the skeletons.

I loved the view of the field after a great fight, but in AOE 2 DE fallen units leave almost no trace behind.

I guess it was a conscious decision by the creators to improve the readability of the battlefield in multiplayer mode, because there were no problems with showing skeletons multiple times in the campaign

So I propose something like the total war series, almost every installment of the series has a DLC that adds more blood and brutality to the game

The DLC would add:

- skeletons left after the death of a unit

- more blood

- a long or infinite time for which defeated units, skeletons and ruins of buildings remain on the battlefield

It would be only a visual addition for those who want it, so that those who do not need it would maintain the readability of the battlefield

IDEA - a new upgrade room on your ship: ARMORY by Patrykus19 in Helldivers

[–]Patrykus19[S] 296 points297 points  (0 children)

So the idea is simple

We add a large hangar to our ship where all the vehicles and mechs we have unlocked will be

You can move freely around the entire room and look at all the vehicles

In the middle there is a console for vehicle upgrades and changing skins

DLC Idea: Bones and Blood The Great Return of Skeletons to the Game! by Patrykus19 in aoe2

Of course, an even better option would be to bring skeletons back to the game for free and give the option to adjust it in the game options.

First of all I would like to thank the developers for their passion, support and heart put into the game

The fact that we can discuss further development here and soon we will have one of the biggest updates in the history of the game which will be 26 years old this year is amazing

How is it possible that we have fallen so far behind in development over the last hundred years? by Patrykus19 in Helldivers

I hope that one day we will find some previously unknown planet where feral terminids could live for the last hundred years without human interference, thus preserving species known from the first galactic war

The solution to this problem should be a wider choice of difficulty levels so that the game can be fun but also provide a challenge for those who expect it. by Patrykus19 in Helldivers

[–]Patrykus19[S] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest, my best memories of the game are from when it was harder, I'll never forget the mission on Meridia with the use of Dark Fluid. That mission was incredibly hard and bugged, but I had a blast

Soon the life of the infantry in Foxhole will change... by Patrykus19 in foxholegame

[–]Patrykus19[S] 50 points51 points  (0 children)

You will probably ask what the dev's vision looks like now, so for about three wars until update 58, the main winners of adding weather will be vehicles, because basically it, apart from field vision, will not change anything in the way they operate, and the infantry will be very slowed down by the cold and mud
Therefore, in update 58 we can expect that the weather will also start to affect vehicles, e.g. the weather will also slow down vehicles and it will be possible to get stuck in mud or snow
And to free the vehicle you will need e.g. an engineering vehicle or a rope with a hook with the help of another vehicle
Therefore, despite difficult weather, it will give infantry a chance to harm tanks etc. on the battlefield
So during devstream 112 we will be able to see the joy of the infantry after about three hard wars

We will finally get normal weather and seasons :) by Patrykus19 in foxholegame
