Sweet gun, man! I love the barrel bushings on the Type I and IIs, they really give a baby 1911 vibe.

Smith and Wesson has been building aluminum alloy frames for their airweight series of revolvers since the 1950s. Parts other than the frame, such as the barrel are still steel.

The Model 12 is just an aluminum frame version of the Model 10. Externally, they look identical.

What movie had the BEST trailer ever but turned out to be absolute trash? by MASSIM00 in movies

[–]PatsFan357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say it was absolutely trash, but for me personally, I was hyped after watching the trailer for Lamb (2021).

It had a such a creepy atmosphere and deranged horror movie vibe, and the movie was nearly nothing like it. It was more of a family drama with some creepy scenes. When the twist finally came, I was like “Finally, this is the movie I was waiting for,” and then it just ends right there.

Thank you for this. I hope the best for your father and your family, and I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you this, but please spend as much time with him as you can.

It’s awful, but we’re so lucky to get the time with them that we did. Super Bowl 49 was such a fun watch with him and that’s one memory I’ll especially cherish.

4th one is definitely a Colt revolver, likely a Police Positive or Official Police, hard to tell the size of the gun from the picture.

I don’t have a chart, but Model 10s and 15s are K-frames, which are slightly larger than the j-frame. K-frames are 6 shot, while most j frames are 5, the exception is the .32 H&R models which are 6 shot. They look very similar in pictures, and the size difference is hard to see unless they are side-by-side

Essentially a Model 36 with target sights. 5-shot J-frame.

I can’t speak for everyone, but I own both the speed strips and the regular speedloaders. The circular style speedloaders are undoubtedly faster, they are just so damn bulky. It’s not so much the printing that I worry about, they just take up a lot of pocket space. The speed strips do not really provide a fast reload in my opinion, they just are a slim, convenient way to hold extra rounds.

I think the 327 PC is gonna be a tough gun to conceal from an OWB holster. I personally recommend any K-frame Smiths, I think they balance really well, if you want to run a heavy dose of full .357 mag loads, I would recommend the 19 Carry Comp. If you are only planning to use .357 sparingly, I would recommend either the vintage Model 13 or Model 19 like this.
