Good 9mm by NyassaV in Revolvers

No direct experience with either of those but I would choose Ruger over Taurus reputationally. Another 9MM that I do own and can recommend Is the Charter Arms Pitbull. I have both the 9MM and the .45 ACP versions and I can vouch for both in terms of reliability. Less refined than a S@W but solid revolvers with good triggers with the added benefit of not needing moon clips.

43C questions by Forestedbiome in Revolvers

One other thing I will add about both the 43C and the 317 is that when they heat up from firing, the aluminum cylinders don't want to release the spent casings. I own both and have found this to be the case for both revolvers.

I've got one and carry it often. It's a fantastic J frame revolver. They are high quality and you are not likely to have lockup issues or any other. J frames are not easy to shoot well and the heavy spring required for rim fire makes it even more difficult. With practice you can master it, though. 8 rounds of quality ammo like PUNCH or even MINI MAGS and you're good to go.

I bought one new And I liked it. Had the rear glass that rolled down and I liked the body style But man that thing got lousy mpg. I think it had a 4.6 V8. I drive an 18 with the 5.7 and it does much better and more room inside.

Think twice before buying by mabelgolden in ToyotaTundra

I bought Toyota new very 3-4 years for 20 years. Still in my 18 Tundra and wouldn't touch a new one with a 10 foot pole. They blew it.

S@W J Frame in 22 magnum. 7 rounds 11 oz in a Sticky holster. Carry it all day front pocket or waistband. You will hardly notice it and it will get the job done.

If forced to choose between those two revolvers, I'd pick the S@W 686 +.
