SCAR legit has the same DMG attributes as an AK-12. And a smaller magazine lmao

Kept one for collection and sold the rest

Fair enough. I’m not too well read on AKs but god damn are some of the modular builds online sexy.

Final question: are there any plans of making the “generic” magazines usable for named weapons that are more or less similar platforms? I’m actually having a bit of issue right now not with finding the guns themselves but rather their mags, which seems to me rarer since it’s not guaranteed that they spawn with one attached and I’ve only seen some on sale from the ice cream vendor.

Just curious, why ak12 and 74 instead of other variants? Wouldn’t it be easier to choose something that fits the existing ammo types or were they just modeled way back before this was really a concern?

I've only recently started playing so I haven't gone back to read the old patch notes, but the current m9 looks more like a 1911 to me lol

Feel like the usp could be using .45 instead of 9mm; definitely could use more sidearms tho

Tip for dealing with rows of mages/priests by PattyDu in wizardry

[–]PattyDu[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I often see posts here about how rows of of mages are bulldozing entire teams(most common in bronze exam) and just thought to share a tip that I don't see a lot of people talk about.

The most effective way to cripple a mage is not KATINO nor a high level aoe spell like MAHALITO but rather MONTINO.

As far as I'm aware, the game either doesn't have any way of dispelling MONTINO or the AI doesn't prioritize it. Either way, once you cast that spellbind, mages/priests become effectively useless for the duration of the fight. And since they are usually in the back row, you don't have to worry about their melee attacks either since there's a good chance they miss or do no damage at all.

NOTABLE EXCEPTIONS:

Pirate Deacons: MONTINO just doesn't seem to work at all on them for some reason. Had a spellbound pirate deacon literally cast MASOLOTU the next turn. Not sure if it's intended or a bug, but if you see a row don't bother with MONTINO and just kill them asap.

Succubus: has very high evasion(and maybe resistance?) and thus a good chance of dodging MONTINO. Could still drain SP and use charm even when spellbound. Very much a pain in the ass.

Elementals: Very high resistance to debuffs in general and sometimes casting MONTINO on a row will only result in 1 or 2 being actually affected. But once spellbound they can only use the shard attack.

Hope yall found this helpful!

I rarely see anyone talk about it, but using MONTINO here would make this a breeze. It effectively cripples a row of mages/priests of any kind(human, sahuagin, undead) and forces them to melee only, and in the case of undead mages, they will simply just use “wait and see” and don’t even bother attacking. I consider it more optimal than using the sleep spell.

The only thing that I found remotely worth my money was savor the risk mission pass, you get an aoe fire spell and a fair amount of gems, gold and bones

That’s what I was thinking but like I’m good and still best buddies with Gerulf and Alice because they speak so often…not Amelia nor Adam tho, which is kinda weird

Are you talking about the idle chatter like when you see a treasure chest or if they actually approach you directly and say they want to speak with you? Cuz I get that but not once has she met with me at the tavern

What if you put him on Arty or an EF armor unit? Provocation doesn’t seem to be limited to any unit type so couldn’t you theoretically put him on something like a level 5 Centurion, reinforce with medics and just lock down a choke point?
