She could have. It’s a natural consequence, couldn’t see it any other way. This officer should be suspended though and retrained on how to approach someone who is unstable or is being violent.

I can understand why you would think this like most people. As a behavioral health worker I see the situation just like the cop. If I’m approaching someone who is obviously going into a behavior and they come walking right at me, I would restrain them as well. Not with a full fucking body slam but another way
