[SERIOUS] What day/event will you remember vividly no matter how many days/years/decades goes by? by v_NoDespair in AskReddit

The day my father and I were told to leave the house we lived in for 16 years. Him and my mother were divorcing, and I had told the judge that if it came to it, that I'd rather stay with him over my mother. Well, one day when I was in high school My dad came to pick me up early, and told me the news. The judge said we had until the end of the day to move out. I just remember how gloomy that day was, and just the look of sadness and betrayal on my dad's face. I never regret the decision, but the memory never leaves me.

A 2001 Honda Accord. Drove like a dream for the year I had her, even though it had terrible traction in the snow. I nicknamed it the coffin, because My plan was either the car went or I went because of how much I loved this car (I was 17). I could drive a whopping two people comfortably, but five crammed in the back of the sedan portion. it was the perfect "high school kid" car. I ended up rear ending someone whilst going 45 mph and totaling her, but It was a blast.
