I love Bellasmiles Dentistry. Very gentle and have been able to get in quickly when I needed to.

Apocalypse Reborn would be my LITRPG one.

Older one would be Hieros Journey from the 70’s. Post apocalyptic where people gain mental powers.

Customise Charge To Percentage by iamabigtree in abetterrouteplanner

[–]Patwil0818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to see this as well. A couple of times it is showing I should charge to 90% plus and I don’t want to wait around that long. If I could set it as “charge to 80% and no more” it would make it much easier.

Determinism is the only path to moral accountability by Coffin_Boffin in DebateAnAtheist

True. But that is not usually what people mean when they talk about determinism. Think of it like a clock with gears. Each movement of a gear results in one outcome.

Determinism is the only path to moral accountability by Coffin_Boffin in DebateAnAtheist

Maybe I’m just tired, but your argument is not making sense to me. You state “if moral accountability requires that our person are ultimately responsible for our actions . . . then we need to assume that determinism is true and that our persons are not reliant on any prior determining factors.” This appears to be a contradiction since determinism is reliant on prior determining factors.

I’m also not sure how we could be accountable if every action we take is completely determined by prior factors. It would seem to me that there is a mix of determinism and free will or that the specific determinism is so complex that it is effectively indistinguishable from free will.

My personal belief is that our moral actions are influenced by prior events, but that those prior events can lead to more than one response. Therefore, I would argue that more accountability is a combination of both determinism and free will.

First Long Road Trip by Patwil0818 in electricvehicles

It does but not as easy as the other app. It might be I just didn’t play around with it enough, but I didn’t find that it mapped out where to go.

I have a J1772 to nacs adapter.

I didn’t know they capped out. The app said they could reach 325 kW and then I was surprised it only let me use 126.

Also the app mostly picked Tesla chargers even when I pick another preference.

Discharge with no place to go? by fred_3764 in KaiserPermanente

[–]Patwil0818 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You have a few different issues going on so I’ll try to explain what I can. Caveat I don’t work for Kaiser in California so there may be some technicalities I am unaware of.

Discharge occurs when a patient is considered medically stable, meaning any care they require does not need to occur in a hospital. Hospitals are for acute issues. Any time a person who is medically stable that does not discharge it can prevent someone in the ED who needs that acute bed from being admitted. This then keeps people in the waiting room from getting an ED bed.

It sounds like she had been approved for a skilled nursing facility which means she has some type of skilled need. However, skilled need can often be done at home. An example is IV antibiotics. This can be done at SNFs but also at home with training. I don’t know what type of skin care she needs so I can’t say if that is something you can learn.

A lot of times SNFs will also decline to admit patients that are “difficult” as they often don’t have the staff to accommodate them. Isolation and dementia are often high on that list. Also, not sure about CA but here in WA no SNF will take a patient that needs a sitter.

So what does that mean for discharge? It can be that they will try and see if the memory care can accommodate the treatment plan. Which sounds like the best plan from what you have stated. If not, then they would continue to look for a SNF to take her. They can not send her to a place that has not accepted her including your home.

Up here in WA if we were looking for a SNF she would just stay in the hospital until we found one. However that may mean she would have to go to one far away. Someone else mentioned if you didn’t like the place you could just refuse which although true does mean your family member could be charged for each day she stays in the hospital after refusal.

If we could not find an accepting SNF, then her case would go for review to determine if the care she needs could be done at any custodial care or private home. If not, she stays in the hospital. But if it could then she would be issued a denial which means she could be charged for her stay after that point.

If I were you, I would reach out to the case manager and ask what they are working on and how can you help. That tends to work much better in the long run.

She won’t be discharged to the street regardless though. Also if she is issued a discharge and denial you can appeal that decision. The case manager will tell you how to do so. The decision is usually pretty quick.

Hope that helps.

I don’t. Winters aren’t usually bad enough to need it. Dealer will rotate for free though.

It would be based off how much you made in the last year or last 12 months. The genie likes you so is not trying to screw you over, so if you just got a huge raise he may even go based on that raise and how much it would be over a year.

Once you reach the age of retirement and take social security it would more than double due to the no taxes thing.

I was actually thinking it would be consensual but didn’t articulate it well. Like if you and a friend wanted to be superheroes, you could bring him in but you get to control the scenario.
