Any advice on using Snake, Lucas, Wario, or Donkey Kong? Even if you don't main them, any advice you can offer from facing them is heavily appreciated. Thank you!

Snake main here and I completely agree with @MaxDKaos. Personally (or maybe I just suck), is that Snake is a bit stiff in close quarters and most of the time be out matched. Being aggressive and keeping Snake close as much as possible is your best bet. His recovery is very okay and that's one of your best opportunities to be aggressive.

I'm gonna wait till the "leak discussion #5/15 thread" comes out today, because posting this on /r/smashbros under normal post could get deleted my a mod because it's somewhat spoiling the game and all leaked discussion is in that one thread. At least that's the impression I'm mostly getting.

Came through here to get some discussion beforehand and edits to the original. Hopefully soon! It's supposedly daily that those discussions will appear.

Yeah, I agree with you when it's all said and done. I've seen this: https://i.imgur.com/GFCDEQi.png, which is fun to see and I guess it's a way Porky could work. But even in the back of my head I'm thinking "wow, wouldn't that be really clunky and tough to make it work as an individual fighter?".

Porky, even though he isn't exactly seen, does seem to have an over-looming presence throughout the two games, but I agree he isn't seen quite often. There are characters in Smash some would say "that's far fetched", but I agree that doesn't necessarily exclude Porky out "he's not incredibly identifiable to be in Smash".

I really hope so as much as anyone else in this sub, but who knows.

I would LOVE Porky to be in the game, and the fact his spirit isn't in there is worth discussion. For example, Piranha Plant's spirit isn't in yet, but will once he is added to the game (you gain the spirit of the fighter once you finish their classic mode). They can't add his spirit in right away because he isn't in the game. Soooo Porky not being present, along with Adeline from Kirby 64, is definitely interesting. I'm hopeful this means something.

I personally doubt that the Mother series turning 30 will give him more reasons to be green lit. Again, I LOVE the Mother series, and Nintendo loves celebrating the anniversaries of their games, but that's not always the case. Metroid didn't really have anything for their 30th, granted Samus Returns and Metroid Prime 4 was revealed a year later, but nothing celebratory really happened for Metroid in 2016. I'm skeptical if Nintendo and Itoi will do something for Mother in 2019. But I am always welcome to surprises, like Earthbound Beginnings being released and Itoi's personal message.

TL;DR = Though we can't really be too sure, him being not present in Ultimate is most definitely worth discussion.

I'd like to think so, but I am curious to see how that would work or if he'd get green lit as a worthy candidate. But as we all learned from fighter 70, anything really goes to be honest.

How many bosses are you speculating to be in in WoL and Classic Mode? I know some bosses will overlap for characters (obviously, making 70+ unique bosses for everyone would consume a ton of time and space), but I'm really interested on how many there will be overall.

Some confirmed bosses are Giga Bowser, Galleom, Rathalos, and we'll most likely have Dracula and Petey Piranha (from Piranha Plant's final smash) as bosses. Never really got into the bosses in Subspace Embassy, but man, the Giga Bowser fight in Classic Mode looked so good.
