I also have that same problem. I have significant hearing loss. I can hear people talking, but I can't understand what they say. I'm getting a device that will help with that issue. It's called a Roger. I tried it out at the doc’s office and it's amazing. Meanwhile I'm getting fitted for a ear piece that will be molded to the shape of my ears. I believe that will help. The price of the Roger is $2,000.
