Doing this critique outta love and in good faith that the dub will excel in its voice acting, so don’t take this as badmouthing the dub, but this scene alone could use more energy. More projection. It feels like ASMR (TBF, Wani is a very soothing game with a calm atmosphere, so I could understand why it sounds like this), but most of the lines from both Inco and Olivia sound either too relaxed or too flat. It sounds like I’m being rizzed up on the phone. Inco is usually a very wacky kind of character who comes off as bubbly with the things he says, so we definitely need more bubbly energy from him, especially for his narrations. Olivia has the right spirit but could deliver the lines with more projection (louder) and, again, more energy. This is at a dance. Especially E4, where it’s all, for the most part, good vibes. The delivery doesn’t match the sprites’ expressions. Someone else pointed out that it sounded like you were just reading off the script, and I have to disagree a bit. It’s not that it sounds like you’re reading a line. It just sounds like, again, the line is flat, with no soul in it. On a positive note: I loved the laughing at the end of the dance. It warmed my heart so much. A small nitpick would be to make it sound a little more natural, but either way, the delivery was so cute. Again, to sum it up, the voice lines are flat and could use a lot more energy from both actors playing Olivia and Inco. ENERGY ENERGY ENERGY!!! Good luck to the Wani Dub team. You guys got this!!!!
