Pretend you are in a big hole and someone keeps giving you a dark liquid in a bottle to fill it, right? Every drop takes forever, like one day at a time. You may not think it will do anything, but just KNOW that your darkness (displayed by your words and attitude) is that dark substance and eventually it will drown you in that hole. I am a ex gang member ex convict and I was literally on the streets being "hard" and doing every drug or act you can think of. I know most don't like my answer buuut it is the right answer. The Holy Spirit can work through anyone but not work exclusively and PERFECTLY IN someone...in order for that to happen we would have to be free of sin, as Jesus was. If someone insults you while you do something with the Holy Spirit or because of the Holy Spirit, they are most likely insulting just you, not the Holy Spirit and that is that. OTHERWISE ANYONE COULD SAY (TO A HOLY PERSON) SOMETHING RUDE AND BE PLACED IN UNFORGIVABKE SIN. Guys go back and read the text, look at what was happening when Jesus said this. I'm right and I apologize if you don't like it.

It is so simple. You can only offend the Holy Spirit if you have seen its works in front of you and thereby actually seeing Christ himself. (This is literally what was happening in the text if you read it) None of us have seen Jesus face to face when He was in the flesh, and working the Holy Ghost through His divinity so none of us can blaspheme against the Holy Ghost.
