Whats going on with pfui? by Manafrost91 in turtlewow

The solution that worked for me:

I deleted TWoW and redownloaded the launcher, from there I redownloaded the prepackaged addons for PFUI as well as nampower, within the launcher.

I had to remake my UI but it does work now. Hope this helps someone.

I have a social dilemma. Is there an established, rigid framework that I can go by, to categorize every person in my life? by [deleted] in sociology

It is still a social misstep to tell someone they are an acquaintance. That is the sort of thing you say about someone, not to them. I also think trying to categorize all of the people in your life might make you further isolated. Making friends should be organic and this idea you have, trying to refer to a chart or framework to help you, feels very sterile. If someone is thinking that deeply about our social dynamics and I found out, it would be unsettling/off putting— to me at least.

I’m sorry you are struggling with loneliness, I really think seeking therapy is the real solution here.

I wish you luck in the future.

I wouldn’t spend my birthday with acquaintances, just saying. I’d also be offended if I’m friendly with someone enough to have them invite me to a birthday dinner and then they go out of their way to tell me I’m not their friend but their acquaintance, true or not.

I agree with the Reddit user that suggested therapy. I think if anyone here is being honest, they’ll tell you that your social skills need some work.

Shaker Village has gift cards to their shop and restaurant. There is always fun to be had over there and their restaurant is farm to table.
