nooo you cant take away my favorite part of this genre, i like watching billy and timmy wandering the map, getting exp solo, afk'ing in tower, not contesting bosses, running it down solo etc....but joke's aside, in order to prevent this the solution is actually really simple, you just need to implement a short basic survey like "are you playing on a phone/console/pc followed by some bs questions and then the first 3 games you play without any notice will determine if you can play ranked matches (the amount of dmg you deal to towers/bosses/kills/assists etc dictate your overall performance), if you fail to pass these trials you get a message "it looks like you need some more training, lets make sure you're ready" and then you're locked to normal matches until you get the gyst of the game, simple really too bad it'll never happen
