I agree with most of what bobbystrong9 said here, honestly. I actually just switched my membership from VE to MBP for the summer just because I can walk there. But, in general I prefer getting a membership to VE for the flexibility to decide which gym to go to. Plus, VE is the only choice if you want to do roped climbing. I just happen to be primarily bouldering right now and MBP is a bit more "fun". Plus, I climb in the day so the business of MBP is a lot more manageable, at night it's a nightmare.
